Drowning in a Sea of Plastic.
I have still got another Vikor and set of guards still in transit. I can actually enjoy my guards now. They came a few days ago but because I was so concerned with my subs I really haven't got to enjoy them.
I usually don't panic but when Robzy already got his package last week I started to really worry. All is good though.
Vikor is perfect, what a figure. I think he still holds the title of best figure so far in 2011 but Faceless One was very close.
It is only February and it is already going to be a great year for MOTUC
I totally agree, its a fantastic line up -sure there are some figs im 'Meh' about (hello Clawful) but on the whole, this is the best year yet! IMO
All we need now is a NA figure and Im a happy geek!

Edit- OK Im officially a convert to the 'More is better' club! I just decided to open my 2nd set of guards,I thought what the hell!
I liked them before, but now i love them, they look great with 4 of them. two was ok but 4 is imposing!

Good work. While i understand MOC i have always been a package ripper myself. looking at the figure on card impresses me for a few moments but the best figure moments always come from holding the figure in your hand or posing on a shelf...
the best is when some one comes over and starts telling you their experiance with the characters
Here's a good story.
When i was in grade two, and attending a school of about 12 kids, p-6, we all got stuck into the sand pit and built a wall about 18 inches high and six foot across, dug out caves and ledges and all bought our MOTU/POP figures to school and had a battle in the sand pit. It raged all through recess and lunch for a week.
Thinking about returning there with a large sieve.......
Staff of Ka - Master of that awesome timelink (which I absolutely rely upon each and every month) - you have all but convinced me to go Mint OFF card - those guards look tremendous!
Im a Package ripper myself, I get two of each figure, and open the best Paint apps. The other one go's to my MOC collection, Ive never collected any toys MOC before, but I love how MOTUC look on card.
I got three sets of guards just in case I wanted to have all four guards, I wasnt gonna open the 2nd set but as the pic proves....the temptation was to great!
awwww thanks, Im glad you find the link useful, I wanted it to be easier to find out times for Members, When I 1st joined the .org I got SO sick of being abused for asking the time of release -By Members & Mods- that I decided to Try and save others from the same crap. (I actually hated how 'hostile' it all seemed when I was new,I actually stopped coming in for a month or so.)
so its fantastic to hear that its still used!
One of the reasons I started doing the 'Countdown' threads was so I could make sure that the link was easy to find.......and slip it under the mods noses!

Indeed - my first forays into this 'world' were not 'enticing'. That said, reading your comments, the Fallen and a few other key supporters of MOTU (in general not just Classics) has convinced me to start 'chatting' (for whatever its worth). Go the Australian link - you all rock! By the by - I have only the BCI DVD's (nice mural), sorry I can't help the latest query.
Aw thanks Buddy, We all -Aussies- have formed our own little safe zone in here, we look after each other as much as possible.
like Wake up calls on matty mornings,MSN Chats on Matty Mornings, covering each other if we cant be online on launch etc.
This Thread is my favorite place on the .org!![]()
Drowning in a Sea of Plastic.
Thanks AJ
Good stuff Another Cosmic Enforcer. The Aussie collectors is a great little community and we help each other out.
I always seem to check this thread first each visit before going to the main board. We don't all have the same opinions about things but we are always civil with each other.
I am glad you have decided to start "chatting" and I look forward to having many conversations with you, and with every other aussie member
I originally wanted just a MOC collection, but one time i was tempted to open my lot of MOTUC which i'm thankful i didn't! I do exactly the same now and the funny thing is, i used to just rip open the packaging back in the day but now i'm almost afraid to lol - even with other figures etc...
Has anyones sub processed and shipped yet? Mine has been in process for 4 days, which is totally unusual....
MOTUC is my thing!
And btw the guards are badass!!

MOTUC is my thing!
Yeah, me tooThis is about the only thread I post in these days. I can't be bothered with all the negativity and arguing in other sections.
It almost feels like we've got our own little forum here![]()

Scored my set of guards and Wun Dar today
Pretty happy with Wun Dar for basically a re tool. but He-Man sculpt is still my favourite sculpt in line so far mainly because it is so simple
I like to treat it as our own little forum. Our own piece of he-man.org. And with the influx of some new blood I hope we can get some cool discussions going on
I love Wun-Dar and I can't really explain way. He is basically a good version of Faker, just a simple repaint, but there is just something about him that makes him so cool. I would rate Wun-Dar well above He-Man and in my own motuverse he could actually go toe to toe with He-Man
Awesome army DBF. Display room must become an issue for you eventually. I haven't opened my my guards yet because I am making a toy room and I am in the process of building shelves in the room. All for MOTUC![]()
