I used to have that guy KUP ... but my (so called) friend Alvin Hinds borrowed him and never gave it back - then years later I was in a dude from high school's bedroom smokin wheeeze and I saw KUP sitting on his shelves with Optimus n a whole bunch of transformers ... so I says " I used to have this guy but this guy Alvin Hinds borrowed it and never gave it back" ... well he starts pi55in' himself laughing cos it turns out he knew Alvin and Alvin had swappen him KUP for some wheeeze a couple of years earlier!! I was like W#T#F ??? "Can I have him back??" and he's like "No Way!" hahhaha just thought i'd share that story...

Hey Guys, been a few weeks since ive posted here, had some major issues in my life where i didnt even want to come here and if i did it was for a matter of 2 minutes, just like everything else i have put to the side, ive been through some cross roads lately and still going through it, life is a bit better at the moment but still wonder at times whether im making the right decisions even though im not putting myself first.
Anyway long story short i havent read of late of any meet up, are you guys still keen as its something i could (and thought of alot) really look forward too. Getting away from my life just for a few days and unwind with like minded folk. Like i said i dont care where it is, id prefer Sydney but if its anywhere else i will make it.
Havent recieved Roboto yet, hopefully this week.

Im in retail so the end of 2010 is out for me. Do we just want to go ahead with it and choose Sydney then so we have a destination atleast and narrow it done to the first half of 2011 and then we could look for events to tie in with it. Is everyone that would like to go be happy with that

I am happy for Sydney in 2011. I would like to attend Supernova if that helps with trying to find a dateIm in retail so the end of 2010 is out for me. Cool, well Supernova is on the weekend of June 17-19 at The Dome, Olympic Park 2011. Im happy to make that a get together and Supernova is a pretty good event.I'll be at next years Supernova, so i'm down for sure!

Well that will be 3 of us going to Supernova then. If we can get some more confirmations of attendees in the next couple of months we can plan a pretty good weekend, but atleast we have a date to go off if everyone is happy with that weekend.

Oh well. Think I'll open one and do the reverse shoulder fix...

EDIT: I did the shoulder fix, but it's not really worth it.. The chest plastic is hard to get apart and even a careful touch resulted in white marks in the clear plastic.. Lame!

Three Roboto's arrived last Friday and all three have "The Original" starburst! How does this happen?? For a MOC collector (and the fact it's Roboto), this is definitely a low point. Not a happy camper to put it bluntly
Overall, Roboto is a really nice figure and has great paint apps (on the ones i have anyway) and Roboto looks really vibrant next to other Classics figures.
Yep, I agree he looks great on the shelf, and no one but me knows his shoulders are reveresed, and I dont intend on using his deformed Gun, so its all ok with the loose one....
...however the MOC 'Original' is p-issin me off more than any faults! lol
