I'm going back to Yogo's post to print up out predictions and have them with me...

Even if the last 3 for the year are average I will still be stoked with this news.

Can't wait to get my hands on that Sub exclusive. It look fantastic on the shelf with the rest of his/her team! Now I just want pictures!!!

Edit - I just checked and we picked, maybe not the month and place, 3 of the 5 reveals so far...

GREAT WORK MATTEL, i bet someone is getting there but kicked again, maybe its Faker Matty at it again. Im really surprised how many stuff ups there are in this line.

I agree Scott, i just saw the up close pic now of the three towers and first thought was where will january sit (grayskull tower or the central tower), who is going to be standing on the bridge.

Also i just noticed the ledge above the central tower will january stand there or a small vechile, not much flying room for a roton or wind raider so maybe a land shark. Yes please to a land shark.

That is a great point. But this time I hope they pose the figures in battle stances and mixed in together, not all good guys here, baddies there.

And I hope if they do some vehicle that one is doing a mono!!! Bam!

I was looking at the top of the Lion tower and regretting theres no room to stand a figure up there.

Because I used to have my vintage 'january figure' up there! but I think they will put it in front of the Lions mouth!

I think it's safe to say we all are buddy. Maybe Mattel did it on purpose to literally excite everyone and entice them to get a sub rather than wait till the last minute deciding? Has anything been mentioned on the forums about this?

I'm hanging to see what the Voltron figures look like!! I just hope they don't release a lion in the same month as a MotUC beast/vehicle etc... It won't be a cheap month that's for sure!

Ive been scouring through the spoiler thread and it was mentioned that Mattel maybe done this on purpose BUT i dont see it happening, they have been so secertive about Megator and Man E Faces secert accessory and i can imagine (if no spoiler) the fan reaction at the con when Shadow Weaver announced the roar would had been HUGE.

Once the figures are revealed fans have plenty of time getting the subs and SDCC is big enough for fans to know to check out new reveals so they wouldnt miss out so i dont see any need to put the sub notice up, and im sure that it has been removed now so another DR stuff up.

Very cool and groovy. Looking forward to January and particularly March 2012. I'm disappointed that the sub-exclusive is a figure that I would have otherwise purchased, but not so disappointed that I'm willing to purchase a subscription to get the figure. I'll keep my fingers crossed that the figure shows up on Ebay for a decent (if inflated) price.

Not sure about the three-pack, although I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures. I'm particularly interested in how much unique sculpting has gone into the figures given then is very little re-use for the sculpts (at least based on their proto-type toy images).

Re: Voltron

Very, very, very cool and groovy. FAR more expensive than I thought it would be - $15.00 for a 3.75" figure PLUS shipping, but so very tempting. Pictures of the final/completed Voltron (and all the other Pilots) will be the determining factor, but I'm thinking I'll have to give up my daily coffee in 2012 to afford the Voltron subscription.

Not sure if they've been posted, but skilled fans found images of Lance and Red Lion on the mattycollector.com website and posted them in this thread:

True, but $510.00 plus shipping > $20.00 plus shipping.

And while I'm disappointed, I completely understand the commercial reasons for it and I'll simply try to grab the sub-exclusive on Ebay.

Just listening to RGD #58 and TG mentions that the MotUC line beyond December 2012 has not been approved by Mattel. This doesn't mean that it won't continue beyond 2012 but as of yet it just needs to be approved by Mattel execs which they do on a year by year basis if i correctly understand this? This applies to all brands (DC, MotUC etc...).

Also, the 30th anniversary logo will be on the back of the packaging. It's no issue with me if it's on the front or back to be honest.

Im with you -nothin to do with the sub figure (still dont care!)- but more to do with the 3 pack!

and AMEN!!! the anniversary logo will be on the back! thats made me 100% happier!
