What I particularly like about this and your other work is that they are more anatomically realistic than the series itself. As the father of a ten-year old daughter, I just don't think it's sending a good message when every single character on this series has a sixteen-inch waistline, impossibly long legs and perfect bone structure. Prior to my being the dad of a daughter I probably would have rolled my eyes at anyone saying this or would have made what I would have thought to be a clever comeback. But I'm now aware of girls' self-image struggles -- which my confident daughter blessedly does not have -- and I just think it's something those in children's entertainment ought to be more sensitive to, taking a lesson from you.
Thanks Patreek!
and thank you very much Olesker!.I agree with you somewhat, but at the same time, sometimes it's just an art style and nothing more.
I get a lot of comments that Aisha (Layla) looks to masculine, but I purposely made her more muscular than the others as she seemed to come from a warrior based kingdom, so to me it would make sense that she is a bit more defined than the other girls. I am by no means saying these are perfect, looking at them now I would change some details, and I should really finish Stella and Musa ... If i can find the files, there on a disk somewhere.
You look pretty pumped for somebody without a pulse
