    Hello there, jmb410s!

    How are you?

The Commander M Club was a club that was ran by Mattel in Australia between 1985 and the very end of the 1987! The Club featured Mattel 'Boys' Toy-lines, such as, 'MotU', 'Hotwheels' and later 'Bravestar'!

There was a small membership fee every 12 months! There were newsletters, posters, wallets, collector cards, and some other merchandise! The stories in the news letters would often feature the new figures, vechiles, etc that were hitting the market! I have scanned some pictures, and taken pictures of the posters, and other stuff! I actually am sending pictures to Val in case he thinks he can add it to the .org site! I also have other things, such as, the Nestle Chocolate Wrappers, Battle Snax Posters, shoe laces, show bag merchandise and other things that I believe were exclusive to the Australian and perhaps New Zealand Markets!

I am happy to try and get some pics into this thread and answer as many questions as possible regarding the merchandise, however, I will be honest to avoid any potential dissapointment, nothing is for sale or trade, unless it turns out that I have a double of it! Not that I am bold enough to assume anyone actually wants it, but if I have some doubles of anything interesting a trade could be worked out! I just wish there was enough of this stuff around so that every fan on the planet could get as much as they want!

    Take Care,
    Darren

Mattel please, buy the He-Man and She-Ra cartoons from Entertainment Rights. If you owned Both Filmation related "MotU" cartoons, plus "NA" and "MYP" cartoons, you would be able to distribute any or all 4 cartoons to Television in the lead up to another relaunch or a live action movie. Plus, you could include Filmation and "NA" animated characters in "MotU:C"!

    Long Live 'MOTU'!

Also here is a picture of the Showbag that you mentioned. Is mine complete or were other things included.

    Hey there, jmb410s,

It appears from the picture you have the 1984 show bag! In addition, to the shoelaces, and cap there was a He-Man face mask, binoculars (sp?) and a couple of other items! However, there were show bags for the 1985 and 1986 shows as well! They seemed to move into more a role play theme! In addition to a repeat of the mask, the 1985 bag came with wrist bands, a solid plastic sword of power, shield, etc! The 1986 bag came with a light saber of all things, plus some other items!

I have a Zodac wrapper, at least that I could see that is not in your picture! I will go through the tin where I keep those and see if there are any other Nestle wrappers in there you do not have! I really need to get my licenced merchandise in order, pronto! There is the odd double, here and there!

I also have that same game! I also have some other merchandise, that may or may not be exclusive to Australia and perhaps, New Zealand! I am just not entirely sure!

    Take Care,
    Darren

I posted this a while ago, but this is always good everytime around: a store display that was (or in this case, was not) hung above the toy aisle. Badass eye catcher.

Here is a picture of a cool Video and toothbrush combo pack I picked up on Ebay. I had been searching for this for a couple years and didn't think I would ever find one/or any were left.

I originally seen it it one of the old MOTU Masters Magazines and thought that it would be cool to have.

Anyway enough rambling here is a picture:

I used ot have the one on the bottom right. I used to love it and as a little kid thought Skeletor was playing with the He-Man Toys. Wasn't til I got older that I parsed that he was probably watching them with magic.
