Today: Dawn of the Dead (Widescreen Directors-Cut) and The Thing (Collectors Edition). For those planning on getting these two, Target had the lowest prices I could find – beat out Wal Mart by almost six bucks.

From the looks of the Target add it looks like Best Buy had the same price, 15.99. I used a reward zone certificate and got it for 5.99 though.

    I bought Superfriends:season 1 off Amazon
    Season one hasn't been released...

If you mean the complete "Challenge of the Superfriends" DVD then that is a show in it's entirety.

    It goes like this:

    Superfriends-The Wendy/Marvin years
    Challenge of the Superfriends
World's Greatest Superfriends: Wonder Twins years
Super Powers Galacic Guardians: THe firestorm/Cyborg years

Incidentely I obtained Ed Wood, Wacky Races, Mummy boxed set, Creature boxed set.

    That's just arguing semantics, now.

Anyway, I just picked up Dawn Of The Dead '04. It was the Director's Cut with the Best Buy Exclusive second disk.

Scanners, Videodrome, and Sleepy Hollow, all for $20.00 plus CA sales tax. Head on over to Best Buy now--they have a Halloween DVD sale going on (3 for $20).

    - Lennon Legend
    - George Harrison, Dark Horse

(not all of them at the same time)

The Criterion Collection 'Videodrome' DVD set. Much better than the regular $9.95 version. I also spent more money than I should have by buying The Criterion 'Naked Lunch' DVD set.

This thread could run and run - I've already posted but do I keep adding DVD's I bought?

As a matter of interest, I finally found a copy of Michael Mann's THE KEEP on Ebay - I've been after that baby for ages!!

Picked up "Queen - Live at the Bowl" over the weekend. Well worth the money if you're a fan.

Also preordered "Return of the King" special edition and the Buffy complete box set.

You're damn straight! I wish that Criterion would release their version of 'Scanners' as well as 'The Brood.' In fact, I would easily pay $100 for a box set of Cronenberg's short films. Easily. BTW, if you don't already have the Criterion version of 'Dead Ringers,' buy it, and buy it now. Now. It's worth every penny that a Criterion OOP DVD unusually costs.
