Predator 2 was amazing last night. It's such a great contrast to Predator 1.
There's only one thing that lets the movie down when compared to P1 and that's the brutal actors they had for the extras.
Everybody except the main cast didn't seem like they were even actors. Some terrible acting in the background.

But ya know what I believe...**** happens!!

Yes, but the question is, what is Ridley Scott going to do with the Alien prequel he's now helming.

The blu-ray player makes DVD's look just as good as a BR. And not to mention most of the BR videos seem to be missing most of the Special Features that come on special edition DVD's of the movies. I have over 700 movies on DVD's, not something I'm gonna waste time replacing, especially at the prices of new BR discs.

Not that I blame you for not upgrading every DVD you own to Blu-Ray (because I also own way to many DVDs to upgrade them all), but speaking as someone who has Blu-Ray, I can tell you that while Blu-Ray players do upscale DVDs, which will help them look better, it's still not as good as Blu-Ray and never will be.

Also, regarding the issue with special features, that is more or less a thing of the past. Yes, there are still some exceptions, but the lack of extras was an issue that plagued Blu-Rays when the format first came out. These days, the Blu-Ray typically has the same extras as the DVD, and in some cases even more that the DVD doesn't.

Well, I too have a BR player, and I've only been buying BR movies that I don't already have If I do replace DVD's with them, I'll be waiting for them in the used sections LOL

    Blu-Ray copies of:

Zombieland - Hilarious movie. Watched it a couple of times since I picked it up and it's still a blast.

Planet Hulk - Extremely well done. Probably my favorite Marvel animated movie so far, and on par with the best of the DC ones. Marvel has come a long way since the really boring and subpar Avenger movies. Still can't tell if I like this or Dr. Strange as my personal favorite Marvel animated movie, though.

Up - Just saw it for the first time. An incredible movie. I had no idea it was this good.
