Is that the Blu-Ray of the Superman Anthology? And if so, is it on sale anywhere? I've been waiting for a good price on it.

Yes, it is the BR edition and I found it at a local independent store here in Syracuse call The Sound Garden. They were selling it for $69, and considering I saw it at Best Buy yesterday for $99, you can imagine which price I was going to pay LOL

My patience paid off! I ordered the Superman Blu-Ray Anthology today from Amazon. As part of their "black friday week" promotion, it's now priced at $55. I was hoping for it to go a little lower, but I'll take it! Since I already have the equivelant DVD set (not to mention the separate, original DVD releases of Superman 1 and 2, and the separate Blu-ray releases of Superman 1 and Returns), I really didn't want to pay full price on it.

I received my Friends Complete Series Blu-ray set today that I imported from the UK Amazon site. The set is region free, the on-disc content is identical to the US set. I got the UK version because it was actually cheaper than the US set at the time that I ordered it, and I preferred the packaging much better than the US set.

Okay, I need to take it easy for a while! In addition to my forementioned recent purchases of the Superman Anthology on Blu-Ray and the UK version of Friends the Complete Series on Blu-Ray (of which only Superman was part of the "black friday week deal), the following Blu-Rays are all in some state of having been delivered, shipped out already, or pending shipping from Amazon thanks to their black friday week/cyber monday sales...

    The Alien Anthology set
    Prometheus
    Pulp Fiction
    The Campaign
    Little Shop of Horrors
    Rushmore (Criterion Collection)
    Being John Malkovich (Criterion Collection)
    Alien VS. Predator two-pack
    Easy A
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory 3-disc Collectors Edition (comes in some absurdly huge box with a ton of swag (though the discs, themselves are in a relatively normal-ish case, I believe)... I could do without the swag, but it was on sale for a good price, and apparently the standard edition is out of print and would actually cost me more to buy.

The following were purchases as gifts:

Robin Hood: Men in Tights on Blu-Ray - for my wife (she LOVES this movie, and it's just a little 'extra' something I'm giving her in addition to plenty of other stuff I've already picked up for her for Christmas).
Platoon on Blu-Ray - for my step-dad for Christmas (already got him some other stuff, too, but I knew this would be right up his alley).
The Santa Clause Trilogy for my mom for Christmas (she mainly likes the first movie more so than the sequels, but the price was so good that I got her the whole set).
The Rocky collection on Blu-Ray (all 6 movies) - for my Step Dad... this is actually for his B-Day in February... I just figured I'd get it now while there were some good deals happening.

I also helped out my Mom by getting her a deal on some Big Bang Theory season sets that she wants to give my step-dad for Christmas (basically I ordered them for her and she's just reimbursing me, since she doesn't follow the deals like I do).
