I watched it right after I posted, and it is one of the best Scooby-Doo direct-to-DVD movies to date. There are appearances in the opening credits by some of Hanna-Barbera's heroes, as well as a version of a famous scene from a certain Marvel Comics character.

The storyline mostly revolves around a revival of the Blue Falcon via movies. It's a two-disc set with the second disc having episodes of Scooby-Doo and Dynomutt. I watched those before I saw the movie so I could understand some of what was going on. Basically, it's very good.

Cool, I've long liked Blue Falcon & Dynomutt and have been very interested in the movie when I saw the commercials. I don't believe I ever saw much of the Dynomutt, Dog Wonder but I did enjoy seeing the duo in Laff-a-lympics (and it's attached BF&D episodes) whenever they were running on TV.

I think I'll have to put the movie on my to get list.

I grabbed Redakai: The Journey Begins. Comes with an exclusive card that, fortunately, was included.

I started off just picking up the figures on clearance, but this franchise is becoming something of an obsession for me. I'm really enjoying the cartoon. It is a blatant infomercial for the card game, and, to a lesser extent, the toys.

For some strange reason I find that appealing

i actually just bought the blu-ray collection of one of the worst movie series' of recent times, a movie that is so terribly bad that I just find myself drawn to it, fueled entirely by my love of bad movies that make me laugh (which this series does)

I am of course talking about

It also doesn't help that I have this goal of owning every single movie that has something to do with Werewolves which Twilight does

I used to be that way, and then I gave up on it because I realized I was buying movies just to own them, not to watch them.

Now, I will only buy movies I know I'm going to watch over and over again like I have been doing with LotR, Star Wars, A Clockwork Orange, The Thing, The Shining, Shawshank Redemption, Alien Anthology (well, just the first two), James Bond, Mel Brooks (due to Spaceballs and Young Frankenstein), Psycho, etc.
Can someone PM me the US number for Matty? I want to talk to someone who might has a clue of what is going on.

That's been my logic as well. My wife and I have a rule, basically - we rent movies first, or see them on screen. If we liked it, and know we'll watch it multiple times down the road, we wait for it to be on sale, or for a birthday/anniversary/Christmas, and buy it. Otherwise, well, that's what Netflix is for.

I used to work for a video store ages ago and acquired a ridiculous amount of VHS tapes, almost all of which were subsequently donated. I just don't have the room or money any more to acquire without good reason.

See you are asuming that I have no intention of watching the Twilight Saga.

That couldn't be further from the truth.

Yes it is a terrible movie series but that is EXACTLY why I like them and find them to be incredibly watchable.
