At Midnight Madness I picked through the cheapy bins and grabbed Pathfinder, Slither, and the Special Edition Box of Casino Royale with two deck sof regulation poker cards designed like th eones used int he movie.

Then with some b-day money I got the Special Edition of Dr. Strangelove: or, How I learned to stop worrying and Love the Bomb.

Then, with an extra big paycheck, I decided that I'd pick through the $5 bin and got Escape from LA and Matrix: Revolutions. I'm not a big Matrix nut and in fact generally rip on it and consider it WAY overhyped, and I hear th ethird was dumb, but for $5, I figure I'll finally own all three and see for myself. As big dumb blockbusters go, it's good, I just don't see why people go so nuts and build such a cult around it.

Live Free or Die Hard unrated 2 disc collector's edition. Man, that movie was badass as all hell to begin with, and then the unrated version brings back the foul mouthed John McLaine that we all know and love and just kicks it up yet another level.

Volume 2 of the Japanese Anime styled Fantastic Four cartoon (still better than the movies by Tim Story)

    Commando: The Director's Cut
It's great being Lord of the Thundercats - especially hanging out with Cheetara - but the one draw back is that He-Man can still beat me up.

    Yesterday I bought:

    5 disk Blade Runner

    &

    Transformers

This is the very first time I've seen Transformers and I have to admit I had my doubts whether they could adapt an 80's robot toy line without me either putting my head in my hands in dismay or laughing out loud. But on finishing watching it this morning I have just one word....INCREDIBLE!!! Then what can you expect from Steven "The Wizard" Spielberg?

I just got a really cool Fist of the North Star double box set. Contains all 152 episodes, and the 1984 movie. That's a whole lotta heads blowing up!

Is that seriously what it is called?? Wow, DVD marketers are really hurting... maybe it's the writer's strike?
