Been a long time since I've seen either - the only Rhino release I have is the first Transformers set. Watched the first 2 discs of GI Joe while working today. A little surprised that it holds up as well as it does. I quite liked it.

And as nice as the Transformers box set is, the GI Joe one absolutely blows it out of the water. Its REALLY nice.
Really nice authoring touch from Shout! on these. Besides the option to "Play All", they give you the option to "Play multi-part episodes seamlessly".

    I'm really impressed.

The Mask of Zorro. I loved the movie, and it was only $6.88 brand new at Wal-Mart. It is a movie I would double dip on if the ever release it on Bluray.

Went down to Big Lots today -- BL's all across the country have recently gotten in a big lot of extra dvds from Warner Home Video and I was lucky enough to pick up some things... These all were just $3 a piece!

-Popeye the Sailer Vol. 1 1933 - 1938 [this one I really wanted to get]

-Johnny Quest: The Complete 1st Season
-The Adventures of Superman: Seasons 3 & 4
    -Top Cat: The Complete Series

[these above three were more on my long term wish list but at $3 a piece I couldn't pass them up]

-MGM - Hercules + The Adventures of Hercules Double Feature [Lou Ferrigno; Cannon Films -- haven't seen these in years]

I was hoping to find more of Adv. of Superman as well as Wonder Woman S1, S2, S3 [or the complete series box] but that store didn't seem to have any [they have been seen in quantity at other BLs though].

The haunting in Connecticut (regular edition) – personally, I was let down and found the Discovery Channel episode of A Haunting, dedicated to the story, more entertaining. But in general I haven’t been too happy with spooky movies coming out of Hollywood for a while now.
