LOL - I just made a Thundercats purchase too.

I picked up Season 1 Vol. 1 of Thundercats at Wal-Mart for $20 today -- the best price I've ever seen. I still need to pick up the other 3 sets though, just wanted to make sure I picked up the the S1V1 set since it seems to be the highest priced anywhere else.

I also just received in the mail over the weekend the Walt Disney Treasure releases of Zorro: The Complete Season 1 and Zorro: The Complete Season 2. If anyone is at all interested in this series act fast -- WDT releases are all limited editions and these Zorro sets were limited to just 30,000 each.

Picked up Star Wars The Clone Wars Movie on Blu Ray. Also Season 1 on Blu ray. I also picked up today Disney/Pixar's Up on Blu Ray. Next Week, Star Trek... on Blu Ray! I'm sensing a pattern here!

I saw them at Big Lots this past summer for $6.00 each. $20.00 is pretty good compared to most though. I noticed that Wal-Mart has been having a Transformers/G.I. Joe/Voltron/Thundercats/Silverhawks area this past month.

I bought the G.I. Joe complete series footlocker set today.

Did some splurging today - 1st DVDs I've bought in months!

    Up - Blu-Ray
    Monsters, Inc. - Blu-Ray
Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs - Blu-Ray
    Weeds Season 4 - Blu-Ray

Got some great deals. Only ended up being about $65 for all of those!

Got Up & Snow White for $14.99 each from Amazon using the DISNEYBD code for $10 off, plus no tax & free 2-day shipping. Got Weeds for $14.99+tax on sale from Best Buy, and got Monsters, Inc. for $17-something from Best Buy. Had Best Buy price match Fry's ad price of $23.77, and then used an $8 off coupon from Disney Movie Rewards for upgrading from DVD to Blu-Ray.

Transformers - Season 2, Volume 1 (not a single special feature....how utterly cheap)

Are those Thundercats sets the same as the ones that retailed for $60 originally or have they been re-released in a stripped-down version like He-Man was? I need to get the first 3 Thundercats sets and that would be a great deal.

    Those are some good deals.

There are some really good deals to be had with Up and Monsters Inc. Unfortunately I found out about the best deal for them a little too late, which is at Target (and most stores are out of stock now because of this). While it's on a case to case basis, many people have managed to get Target to price-match Best Buy's price on Monsters Inc. (18.99, which is the price BB offers when you buy it with Up), and use 4 different coupons to basically get the movies for something like 98 cents plus tax.

I ended up paying a little over $20 for both Up and Monsters Inc, which is still a really good deal.

Nope, they aren't stripped down versions (though, as far as extras and stuff go, the Thundercats sets weren't given very much in the first place). These are the same sets that have been out, and cost around $50 in many places (in fact, they still cost around that much in many places). But Wal-Mart has them for around $20 each now.

I believe they are the same, but don't quote me on it. I had to go to 5 different Wall-Mart's in my area in order to find the first volume. I even went online at Walmart.com, BUT they are selling them for $50 each online.

Picked up Gabriel Inglesias' two stand up specials as well as Southland Tales on DVD.

For all of you Doctor Who fans: Today Amazon has all four of the new seasons/series on sale for $32.49. That's only $130 for all four as compared to the usual price of $60-100 each.

Hope someone else enjoys this as much as I did.
