Doesn't the fact that movie is set in the year 2005 date it enough for you? Just watch the movie like 100 times. You'll get used to it, Philly Cheese Steak. Pretty soon you'll be singing "Youuuuuuuuu got the Touchhhhhhhh! Youuuuuuuu got the Powerrrrrr!" to your waitress at Denny's.

I always found Deep Space Nine to be very hit or miss. Either it was very good or it was very bad. I think maybe it's because some of the characters weren't very good. Odo was kind of goofy looking, and Dax was boring.

Should I just watch the show in episode order or the best and essential ones. I know Far Beyond the Stars is one of the best ds9 episodes of the whole series but what other ones?

If it was Voyager, I'd say only the best ones. But with DS9 I might go with the whole series.

But that really depends on how many seasons there were. I don't remember how long the show ran for - it's been a long time since I watched any Trek.

7 seasons for DS9 and 6 for Voyager

Sorry, Sorceress, but with the exception of TOS, TAS and the abomination that was Enterprise, all other Trek series ended with 7 seasons.

Ooops my bad. And yes Enterprise is a thing of pure crud with the exceptions of the characters Shran and T'Pol imho.

That assessment of Enterprise is only valid for seasons 1 and 2. Season 3 was excellent and season 4 was superb. In fact, had the show been written as it was in season 4 for the entire run, it would have likely lasted 7 seasons like all other Trek shows.

I'd watch DS9 in order rather than skipping around. Besides the overarching story there are story arcs that cross a couple three seasons that you'll miss my jumping around the series. I've always enjoyed DS9 and think it's a great Trek series

Rick Berman and Brannon Braga had promised when Enterprise was first announced that it was going to be like the most of season 4. Unfortunately B & B did everything but deliver on their promises -- it wasn't until Manny Coto was made show runner for the 4th season that Enterprise truly began to live up to it's promise (season 3 was an notable improvement of season 2, despite the whole Star Wars thing...). And that series finale that B & B just had to write, "These Are The Voyages", ugh -- at least it can be disregarded in favor of "Terra Prime". Even though "Terra Prime" wasn't written as a finale it would have made for a much better one that B&B's effort.

I'm still disappointed in the whole TCW {letters used to minimize spoilers if someone's watching} that really didn't go anywhere, not to mention B&B totally ignoring S31 (introduced in a previous Trek series) which would have been perfect for several Enterprise episodes rather than the dead end TCW stuff.

While not the movie in question, this is teen wolf. It has the He-man and She-ra holiday picture on the front. They also have a best of She-ra collection that the scanner said was 97 cents. Packaging doesn't look quite like an ornament though.
