Killer Klowns From Outer Space. My goodness what a phenomenal film! And thereís not a shred of sarcasm in my post. Honestly, it sounds ridiculous to say when talking of an 80s B movie, but it is so visually ambitious, you canít help but love it. One of the best theme tunes, too. Iím listening to it as Iím typing this.

Got the complete Beetlejuice animated series on Amazon for around $35. The previous low price on this set had been like $60, so I pounced, quickly.

Not so my a purchase by me but my sister picked up Samurai Pizza Cats volume 1 which is pretty cool.

Also this beauty arrived yesterday:tumblr_mv7dgmxRGd1r0ata2o1_500.jpg the German blu ray media book of Re-Animator. The PQ is gorgeous and way nicer than the Image (US region A) release. FYI it's region free so no troubles for those without region free players.

How's the packaging on this? I heard Mill Creek got rid of the paper sleeves and just stacks the discs now.

Recent purchases: Justice League Unlimited Seasons 1 and 2, Pee Wee's Big Adventure (BR), and The Dark Knight Returns Deluxe Steelbook Edition (BR).

Yes, mine came with the 3 discs stacked on top of each other. I really despise that kind of packaging as the risk of disc scratching increases. Luckily I have a few 3-disc dvd cases I purchased in the past just in case for such occurrences. In fact, I used one of them for the first volume of Heatcliff.

Mother of Tears. Terrible Dario Argento film. How the mighty fall. It’s tragic when a genuinely amazing director churns out crap in the twilight end of their careers. Wes Craven and John Carpenter also spring to mind.

I've been waiting for an official release of SPC for ages!

The first Madman SPC DVD collection of 26 episodes is available locally at certain retailers here in Aus (with the remaining episodes coming out in Dec on a second DVD collection) but i've also checked on eBay and there's an 8-disc DVD set with all the episodes available too. Had I known about that, i'd have probably more than likely bought that one.
