Just bought the R2 DANGER UXB box set - All 13 episodes of this 1978 UK series about a bomb disposal team in WW2 London. It's really compelling stuff from back when drama relied on good scripts and superb acting to convey atmosphere - You really are interested in everything being said & done on screen, and find yourself caring for the characters. The first episode with Anthony Andrews defusing his first unexploded bomb had my heart racing, and I knew he was going to survive.

They literally don't make television like this anymore...

In the same delivery I got the new DR WHO release, INFERNO. Just about my favourite story from my favourite Doctor (Jon Pertwee), and it really does highlight (for me) how bad the new series is.

Fictional characters are just that. Fictional. They have no personality or free will of their own.
Writers and editors mold them to their own wants and needs.
All we as the audience and fans can do is pick and choose our favorite interpretation and ignore the rest.

SpongeBob the movie. SpongeBob is some genius shizzle. That movie kills me, especially the righteous guitar solo at the end, and I love that effin' song.

Recent purchases (with a few still on the way)

Garfield & Friends Volumes 2-5 (20 bucks each, pretty cheap)
Garfield Time Travels & Fantasies (thus completing my Garfield collection)
    Galaxy High Volumes 1-2

Actually, I got all of them pretty cheap.
