Nice. I've only got 237 DVDs and sets.

I got my Quarterly Bonus, so I allowed myself more money than I usually do for DVDs every pay period. Off the bonus money, I bought the 15th Annv. Reservoir Dogs in the Gas Can box. And I also got the Limited Edition Re-Animator, in the big box that has a free highlighter that looks like a syringe of reanimating agent.

I finally got a copy of the Corpse Bride. I liked it well enough, but after Nightmare Before Christmas, I had HIGH expectations. I didn't think the songs were as good or memorable, and I was a little put off by no commentary track (for me, that's a SERIOUS purchase factor as it could double the watch factor). But it's in the Wal-Mart $5.50 bin. So it was time to grab one.

I grabbed Natural Born Killers out of the $5.50 bin at work. Special Director's cut edition. I've actually, as much of a film geek as I am, never gotten around ot seeing this. Watching it now.

Now, that is your disc count, meaning if you get a 2 disc set like Ghost Rider, that counts as 2 discs? (just wondering.... counting DVDs can be complicated)

Holy Crap! I just checked my DVD Aficionado list.

My DVD count is 788 (meaning that the total number of DVDs/DVD sets that My wife and I own is 788. In this count, a multidisc season of a TV show would = 1, the back to the future trilogy boxed set would = 1, etc).

My Title count is 830 (meaning that the Back to the Future Trilogy would = 3 titles. But, I believe a TV show season set would still = 1).

And my disc count (meaning, every disc in my collection) is 1605!!! Holy Crap!! I didn't know I had that many.

All of these counts also include the big whapping 3 Blu-Ray movies that I own.

The numbers might be slightly off as I am not 100% sure if there are a couple of DVDs that I have neglected to add to the list, but this should be pretty close to the right amount.

Though, lately I haven't been buying them like I used to. I still get quite a few, but I'm more picky these days, mainly due to cash reasons.
