The only thing I would change would be the serpent head making it really big to fit possibly a figure in it, But this is really cool Mattel better think about making one of these before you start going into production.

Maybe it's me, but I am blown away by the lighting. Not that anything else was done poorly or anything, but the great job on the lights really impresses me and looks great.

I think the best place for Mermans pool would be near the throne room, in the series, that's usually where it is.

Your Castle Grayskull should be quite impressive, especially if made as a companion piece to Snake Mountain, frankly, I think I'm looking forward to that much more that I am a revised Snake Mountain. Though, it does ask some scale questions, Grayskull seems to be an expansive place. The throne-room that the Sorceress sits on is a 2 story or so structure, the library is a two story structure, then the secret chamber where the statue of King Grayskull and the tapestries isn't small, and the crystal lattice where the Grayskulls powers (Council of Elders powers) are is a giant place, 30 or so stories tall. I'm guessing some of those locales will be compressed, if not left out.

Excellent. I wouldn't mind having one of those. What is this made of again? Is it possible to make a mold of that and do castings?

Awesome, what material did you use? I assume it had to be some kind of caulk or spackle or something thst can stand up to your sons playing.

THE MAJOR COMPONANTS WAS HALF OF A SNAKE MOUNTAIN
THEN 4 2INCH THICK HEAVY FOAM WALLS THEY WERE 2 AND HALF
FEET WIDE AND ABOUT 3 AND HALF FEET TALL, CHRISTMAS WRAPPING TUBES
CHICKEN WIRE, SPRAY FOAM, SOME HARRY POTTER AND JURASIC TOY PARTS,
A SLIME PIT, PHONE CORD, SOME CHRISTMAS LIGHTS THE RECIPE CAN GO ON AND ON AND ON AND ON
I USED PLANT STAKES TO HOLD IT TOGETHER THEN USED GLUE GUN TO SEAL
    IT ALL THE WAY AROUND
THEN ADDED THE HALF OF SNAKE MOUNTAIN GLUED IT TO THE BASE OF THE
    WHOLE THING
THEN PUT CHICKEN WIRE ON THE FRONT IMBEDED INTO THE FOAM TO CREATE THE MOUNTAIN
THEN CAME ALL THE SPRAY INSULATION FOAM THAT CREATED THE TEXTURE
THEN COVERED THE INSIDE WITH PAPER MACHE TO GIVE A STONE TEXTURE
AND MORE STRENGTH AND ALSO SO THE FOAM WOULD NOT CHIP OFF
PAINTED THE ENTIRE THING WITH A STONE SPRAY PAINT AND THEN REPAINTED UNTIL I GOT THE RIGHT COLOR
AGAIN THE CAMERA DOES NOT GIVE IT JUSTICE
PLEASE ASK IF THERE ARE ANY MORE QUESTIONS
    WHAT PART IS YOUR FAVORITE???

IF A MOLD COULD BE MADE I WOULD LOVE IT BUT I DONT KNOW????

    Very, very excellent job.

I haven't made a custom snake mountain yet, but I have been planning on it.

Now, as I am writing this, it is now about 2:10 am (central time) on Janurary 9th, and I did not even know anything about your custom until a few minutes ago, when I discovered the link you put up in the "Can the 4HM/NECA do a Snake Mountain statue in scale with 6 inch statue line?" thread. And I must say, great minds think alike...

One of the ideas I have had for a while now is to use parts from the mutant slime pit to make the snakemen void and skeletors thrown. (In fact, earlier this week I picked up 3 slime pits on clearance from KB Toys, in addition to one that I've already had for a few months now).

Some other ideas that I've had for the one I want to make...
When and if I ever get around to actually making it, I'm hoping to make it on hinges somehow, so when closed up, it will look like a round mountain, but then can be opened to "play" inside. I'm also trying to figure out if there is some way that I can make it so I can have 2 removable snake heads to make the 1 headed and 3 headed versions. If that doesn't work out, I pay even just trying to make 2 different ones entirely.

Other things I have thought about making...

I'd like to make the temple that Keldor goes to when he has Hordak save him and turn him into Skeletor. Not totally sure exactly how I will do that, but some ideas I've had would be to obtain some old, used, beat up Hordak figures from the 80's line and repaint and use their heads for the stone Hordak heads that were on the walls. I'm also thinking about somehow rigging it so my Hordak bust will safely fit in it, which would serve as the "image" of Hordak that appears to Keldor/Skeletor. I would the probably take my Keldor figure, put the head on him where his face is being burned off, and have him kind of kneel on the stairs before Hordak. (This will prove to be a most expensive display just based on the fact that on ebay I paid over $80 for Keldor and about $100 for the Hordak bust).

I also wouldn't mind making a custom castle grayskull. Either using the mattel toy as a basis, or just starting from scratch. Either way, I would want to put a throne for the Sorceress (and make a custom Sorceress figure), and trying to make the crystal chamber, with a place for the orb and that box that the power sword was stored in prior to Adam receiving it.

I don't think it is the coolest thing but I did work hard on it

It has gotten a better paint job since those photo's were taken, and my
    camera still stinks

Well it has been in my son's room for 4 months now and it has not
been destroyed so it has turned out to be very sturdy thank goodness
