    What do you guys think of my King Grayskull & Battle Lion?
    A special thanks to Imp who gave me the fur (for free ) to make Battle Lion's mane and tuft of fur on the end of his tail. Thanks again for your kindness Imp!

    ...and here's a comparison pic of He-man & Battle Cat next to King Grayskull & Battle Lion

    (notice I painted Battle Cat's missle launcher all silver to resemble the prototype pic that was on the back of the Battle Cat packaging)

    Yea Marnt! Bit by the custom bug again! Nice King grey skull but the Lion is over the top. Nice use of Real fur. Makes all the difference in the world. Just like a grizzlor custom isn't done right without real fur. I think if I do the lion I might use vintage Battle cat simply because it's bigger than new version ( I believe anyways ) that and not a lot of people will play with it anyways . It would probaly be more for display... Keep up the good work waiting to see you tinker with sculpting...

    the braids look the best of any I have seen so far

    what sculpting material did you use?
    what did you use to remove the stripes from Battle Cat?
    and MOST IMPORTANTLY:

    what material did you use for the cape and where do you get that material??? I NEED that!!

    That is truely awesome. Man, it just goes all together. Battle Lion really looks mean as hell. King Grayskull looks right on and the hair looks good. I like it.

    Yay! I like them. Did you cut off the "teeth" on Battle Cat's helmet and put in Sculpy ones? (That's what it looks like.) Are they attached to BL's face or to the helmet? I'm assuming the helmet is removable, I'm still looking for a Battle Cat so I've never seen him with the helmet off. Stupid newbie collector questions.

    The mask is removeable. All I did was grind off the mask's fangs, because on the cartoon, Battle Lion's fangs weren't hidden behind a mask the way Battle Cat's are. Maybe it was just a mistake on the show, but I thought the subtle difference in masks was better than being identical.


    bcrduke : No sculpting was used. (I can't sculpt worth **** )
    The braids are from a Street Fighter Cammy fig from a couple of years ago.
    Now for your MOST IMPORTANT question :
    The cape is from those halloween costumes that Wal-Mart was selling. It came from a Superman cape. The material is practically identical to the keldor cape (just slightly thicker). I also bought a little Wizard outfit to make a couple purple capes for my Skeletors. Unfortunately the outfit was only half purple, but I bought it clearance after Halloween for only $2.97 CAD

    Wow, that's good to know. I was planning a King Grayskull (Using the larger Ice Armor He-man as a frame), and I wasn't sure what to do to make the braids from.

    he is looking pretty cool. i like grayskulls hair. but he has not the right size. i think grayskull is much bigger than he-man and battle lion is much much bigger than battle cat.
