Question about the mini-comics that came with the toys

while looking through the mini-comics section of the .org i noticed that several mini-comics came with the same figure twice

for example fisto came with both Clash of arms and masks of power

zodac came with Slave city and Vengance of skeletor

while some only had one e.g. only teela came with tale of teela and only ram-man appered in he-man meets ram man.

i was wondering if this was right, were 2 fistos released with either comic, were the comics inserted randomly into the packages? i've never opened a vintage MOTU toy so dont know much about the mini-comics. were they easy to see? if not was it a random chance on which ones you got?

also which mini-comics are the hardest to find i hear Tale of teela, Ultimate battleground (eternia) and Powers of grayskull the legend begins (the 3 dinosaurs) are difficult to find. are there any others?

can someone help me out please?

"The Tale of Teela" & "The Ultimate Battleground" are the 2 rarities. "The Powers of Grayskull: The Legend Begins" is not so rare (packaged with several figures/dinos).

Figures appeared with different mini-comics depending on when they were released. While the first Zodac was packaged with one of the mini storybooks (The Vengeance of Skeletor, as you mention), but Mattel kepts producing these figures during the run of the MOTU line.

Subsequent releases were often packaged with different mini-comics.

    * I forgot to mention that some figures were "out" at the same time, but with different mini-comics: Blade for example - "The Cosmic Key" & "POG: The Legend Begins".

It was easy to tell which mini was packaged with each.

I don't know of a good place (besides here & ebay) to get mini-comics.

I'm looking for a good place to get the classic UK comics...

Can anyone confirm what mini comics came with the re-release of he-man "the original'? In the collecting section of the org it shows "Masks of Power" in the card. But i have seen it on ebay with "The Terror Claws Strike." I just want to make sure that if i get that one the comic is the original and the package hasnt been sliced and a new one put in. Does anyone know what comics were packaged with "the Original" vintage he man re-release around 1985? Thanks!

The original he-man with " Terror Claws strikes " was re-released in '86 this figure was made in malaysia and was known as the virus he-man ( spots on plastic ) and came with a handled axe.

    Pairing mini-comics with figures

How is it easy to tell which mini was packaged with which?
On this site's directory, I've found some figures tell you which mini comic it came with but most don't. Is there a comprehensive list somewhere? Thanks.
I'm new to this forum, I've got a ton of MOTU '82-84 stuff I'm starting to put on eBay. Figures, vehicles, mini-comics, tray tables, sleeping bags, bed linens, duffel bags, and other memorabilia. I would like to be able to sell the figures with the accompanying mini comic (I also have all the cardboard backings).

    Thanks!
