God Bless you for thinking that idea was wonderful. I got one of my degrees in musical theater, and honestly... I think everything needs to be sung.

Don't worry.. I have a few of my big shot hollywood contacts looking into this folks. This isn't done yet... not by a longshot!

i actually went to the show when i was little, i remember the sword cost too much for me to get so i got an orko wand instead which was basically a flashlight with three bulbs on wire with foam stars on the end. but i wanted a he-man sword SOOOO bad. i don't remember anything about the show except that they turned off the lights and everybody in the audience had to hold their sword or orko wand up to help them save the day. i remember looking around the arena and see hundreds of orko wands and he-man swords lit up. i also remember having to RUN out with the people who took me because they wanted to get out before everyone else, we missed the whole ending of the show. but seriously i don't remember anything else, i didn't even remember that it was a musical until i read it on here. the only characters that i remember seeing are he-man and she-ra.

i never knew a thundercats show existed those costumes are messed up. they're scary. and they also had the Tigersharks. i LOVED the tigersharks when i was little.

I was just wondering if anyone had some pics of the sword or wand that was for sale at the show. Those would be cool items to have.

there HAS to be at least some remaining footage -- there was a video part of the show where Skeletor and Evil Lyn and cronies "Speak" to He-Man and She-Ra via "satelite" -- right before "beaming" to Earth... I remember that part vividly because Evil Lyn had long brown hair (and I kept thinking, NO - she had short WHITE hair )... and then the evil warriors appeared and came down into the audience and Evil Lyn hissed at me and then I screamed like a girl in a bad horror movie when Beast Man cam roaring by!

the other thing I remember vividly was the beginning when the "extras" came out with banners depicting the different "locations" on Eternia and Etheria... and I was surprised and delighted that Crystal Falls was one of them

The more I hear you guys talk about this show, the more I hate those of you that got to see it!

I'm just a jealous old crab... don't pay me any mind. No one else does. I hope Ted does find it. He sounds determined. I'm holding my power sword up to help him save the day!

I don't think it ever came to Louisiana. I know my mom and pops would have taken me if it did.

How much are the pins from the Power Tour worth these days? I was wondering what would be a fair trade for them? Thanks

Well a auction just ended for a lot of three for $5

I got mine with a ticket stub off of ebay about a year ago and paid $6 so I would say $5-$6.

    Hope that helps

    The MOTU Power Tour!

Anyone get to see this? I wish I had. :P I'd kill for a video of it. Not because I think it looks good... but cuz it looks cheesetastic!

Great Article on it at x-entertainment. I'm sure most have seen it here...

    http://www.x-entertainment.com/articles/0760/

Definitly some cool costumes (Hordak's rocks) And some... questionable ones... (The Songster? Wha?!)

If you've seen it, enjoy and laugh again. If not, Just enjoy.

I went to the Power Tour when I was a child.
    Loved it.

My dad wouldn't buy us any of the stuff, though.
He just bought himself a bunch of beer later on.
    Blah.

I was jealous of all the kids with their Power Tour power swords.

I remember when they mentioned the Power Tour coming to Toronto as a kid. That was one of the years my family went to Wonderland but sadly I never got to see the show. But I'll always remember the Power Tour Skeletor they showed on the news, at the time I thought that was the coolest thing ever.

My family had tickets and we drove 3 hours to get there. When we arrived, there was a sign on the door saying it had been cancelled. I was all busted up about it.

We went to a hockey game the following night in the same arena the show was going to be in. They must have received most of the merchandise already because they had the power swords for sale so I picked one up.

Didn't get to see the show but I gots me a sword!

Thought I would give this thread a bump to see if there is any more to discuss and give new members a chance to check it out

Plus I wanted to share this cool power tour jacket I won off of Ebay for way too much.
