There was a commercial floating around for this. Wish someone had a video of the whole show. I still remember parts of it. There was one part where Skeletor multiplied himself and he-man had to fight off a ton of skeletors. It was awesome.
I bought a dvd on ebay once and it wa alittle late so the seller included a really cool 80's commercial dvd with a commercial for the power tour.
So that's where the green sorceress in 200X and the green on teela came from... in fact... I can see a lot of influences from those costumes in the MYP series...
But I have to admit, I would have bought a Songster fig. I probably still would...

Did I ever grow up? Probably not. I'm sure the day-glo socks gave it away anyway.
Beastman looks a lot like Brandon Dicamillo's BeastMan from the Cky series haha.
I wonder what all these people are up to today, especially Songster.
Hahaha! Songster! Those outfits are freaking classic. You couldn't pay me enough to do that job. That Evil Lyn Bone Headdress is SICK though.
Also He Man looks like he just solved a hard math problem and is proud of himself.

Awesome thanks for the link !!!
Interesting. I've never heard of this until now. I think this was well into my "I'm getting too old for He-Man" phase and I doubt I would have gone even if I'd had the chance. It's amazing how looking back 20 years that it's hard to come across footage of a production like this considering the overabundance of camera phone and webcam stuff being shot these days.
WELL it only took FOUR years...
Ok, fun story. At San Diego Comic Con this year, I'm having lunch with a few business associates, and I overheard a conversation at the table behind me. Someone talking about "building a 24 foot Castle Grayskull, and roller skates, and movie screens." I turned around, apologized for eavesdropping and even more for interrupting. I asked if he was speaking about the Masters of the Universe Power Tour, and he said yes! I mentioned how much it meant to me as a kid, and just how excited I was that someone else remembered it. He said ... ."remember it - I directed it!" It was Tony Christopher, now President and CEO of Landmark Entertainment! He asked for my contact info, which I gave him. That was in July.
This afternoon, his assistant called. Landmark's offices are in my neighborhood! (Right next door to the Disney Channel where I worked for 10 years!) He said, Tony had something for me.
I swung by this afternoon, and there was a MINT, I mean PRISTINE, He-Man Power Tour PROGRAM! It smelled like 1987! I was in HEAVEN! Tony wasn't there, but I was so happy, I almost kissed his assistant (and one of the graphic designers who was HOT!). His assistant said he's looking for footage, and if he finds some he'll call!
Such an awesome AWESOME guy to even have remembered that guy who butted into his conversation!
I'm still floating!
