    I'm thinking of getting the video ipod, it's listed at $300 on the apple store, anyone know if there are any problems with it like past ipods have had? Can it play any videos? I could put cartoons on there and watch them during math or something, that would rock!

    I believe there are some restrictions on what types of movies it can play. I seem to recall hearing that they have to be in Quicktime format, for example. And I'm not sure how easy it would be to download movies to the device.

    That said, it still looks like a neat toy.

    I just found out yesterday that I'm probably not gonna make it. We found out that Shawn has to have some surgery done. She's going in on Thursday morning and doesn't get to come home till Friday. The doctor said that she has to miss work for 4 weeks! She said she wants me to go,as she'll probably just be sleeping alot on Sunday anyway,but I'll see how she feeling first.
