To the ML collectors. The "Wal-Mart Exclusive/Giant-Man" Series has been confirmed. Here's the list:

AOA Sabretooth
AOA Weapon X
Ant Man
Captain Britain
Havok
Kitty Pryde
Sentry
Thor
Warbird
AOA Weapon X (Variant burned head)
Sentry (Variant with beard)

Even though they are a Wal-Mart exclusive, I don't think they are going to be that hard to find. The world is that they are getting pallets of these similar to what their new release DVDs looks like. Plus, since these aren't just repaints, they had to have put in very large order to justify the work involved making these. This will be the first time that I'm actually going to have to buy ML at a regular retail store. I pass the Wal-Mart on 53 and Lake Street everyday so I'll be checking daily once words hits that they are offically out. I'll probably be buying as many as I can to help out any members and or for trade.

Mike - if that was the funniest thing you've ever seen, you need to get out more.

Dennis - Darrell said that QED is still (for the time being) in their original location. Apparently the "final month" keeps getting pushed back. Lao Sze Chuan has moved to Downers Grove, however, and my officemate and I are going to try the new place out tomorrow. (If you never went there, you missed out - they had some fantastic Chinese food. I'm hoping the new place has the same tastiness.)

Happy B-Day Craig.

Sadly, it looks as if my trip to QED Monday morning is now off. I just got back home a little while ago, and my car was involved in an accident. My sister was driving with my 13 year old niece and my car was hit by another car, cutting thru a parking lot out at the Sycamore Wal-Mart. Thankfully, my sister and niece are ok, and my car is driveable, but I will now be spending most of my Monday trying to get my car in to get fixed and arrange to get a rental car
