Well, I've hit 3 Wal-Marts today with no luck. I thought for sure they would have the ML wave this weekend. But it wasn't a complete loss. I had breakfast with my wife and I did score the DCSH series 2 at the last store.

Meanwhile, I just got a report of the ML wave hitting 13 miles from my house. I'm grabbing the wife and dogs and the breadman is making a break for it.

OK, I'm back. The WM I hit is wiped out. There was a guy in front of my that basiclly got the last of the regular figures. I was able to get the last two figures. I Sabretooth and Ant-Man. They a few of the two packs left and I scored the last of the Hulk variant set and DD variant set. Boxed sets were a plently along with the Masterworks sets.

Thanks to Chicago Marc I scored 3 of the 4 Superman wave of figs-including Darrell's Sueprgirl. Then he scored me a Doomsday, which was the one that I needed! GO CHICAGO HORDE!!!

All those in addition to the Lone Ranger set I grabbed Friday night. Sadly though, I need everybody to keep an eye on weekly sales, as I did NOT get the newest Thundercats set, which was the one I specifically told family I wanted the most. (Though I did get a new scanner for my PC which I really needed) Please let me know if anybody sees or hears of it on sale.

Good deals to everybody who scored ML & DCSH2 this weekend. Hopefully they'll start hitting in greater numbers this week.

Oh, and Jimmy-If Shawn's looking for a copy of Kingdom Hearts 2, Best Buy has it on sale for $40 this week. ($10 off regular price)

called the bedford park walmart by ford city today. they said they had all the face off figures. by the time i got there around 11:30 all were sold except for 2 hulk/leaders & 2kingpin/daredevils. I bought one of each. they still had LOTS of marvel masterworks, moster box sets and young avengers box sets, so if anyone wants one of those head on down!

I've read some reports that in addition to the Wally ML figs hitting Beford Park, they've hit in Plainfield & Algonquin, so this is the week to find them, if you need them immediately.

I've also read that this wave is going to be produced twice as much as any previous ML wave, so if you thought the Galactus Wave warmed pegs, you ain't seen nothing yet. Especially since these are only gonna be at 1 store. I guarantee you by sometime in June, these are gonna be in Previews to order. I can just see Wal-Mart sending cases back to Toy Biz saying we've already got too many of these things-don't want any more.....

I had some luck today as well. Stopped in at 75th st. Wally and snagged the last Bizarro figure, but left the remaining Superman, as his paint job was crappy. Hit the K-Mart by my house and scored a SW Galactic Hunt AT-AT Driver if anybody needs it.

Then hit another Wal-Mart that got the ML stuff in, but they didn't set up the pallet. They just crammed the stuff on the shelves with everything else. PLENTY of box sets & Masterworks. 2-packs were plentiful. Had to have at least 5 sets of both the regular & variant Hulk/Leader set, 2-3 each of the DD/Kingpin sets, and only 1 variant Cap/Red Skull set. (No regular Cap sets) As far as the Giant Man figures go, all they had on the pegs were 2 Ant Man, 3 Thor, & 4 Sabretooth. I grabbed 1 each, along with the variant Cap set, and had to leave the rest, due to my checkbook on the virge of being overdrawn. I can go back for 2-packs & box sets later this week, if anybody needs them. (I'll probably get paid tomorrow) Otherwise, the extras Marc has are all I would have been able to grab. (Except I can probably go back for Thors) My want list for the basic figures is the same as his:

EDIT: We need to set a firm date for the next Horde meeting, as We're not planning on meeting this Sunday, due to Jimmy having to deal with Free Comic Book Day Saturday. I just realized that the 14th is Mother's Day, which works for me, but I imagine that many of you will have other plans. We could push it back to Sunday the 21st for the official date, or if many of us will be at the store Saturday, we could just have the "meeting" then, as I'm sure many of us will have ML figs to trade. I need input poeple!!!!!
