Well guys, I'm out for Wizard as of right now. I just found out that I'm being laid off. My last day is 08/04. I'm second on the callback list so hopefully it won't be long. Meanwhile, I'll have some time to get caught up on some drinking.
    Thanks
    Marc

Sorry to hear about that Marc - hopefully the job market will open up more so than it did after you left Target, and you'll have work shortly.....

Sorry to hear about that Marc. I'm sure you'll find something even BETTER soon. Heck, you can have my job if you want it.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I'm not too worried. I found out that one of the guys from another depot is going down to the union hall today and might be letting us know tomorrow that he is going to retire. If so, the guy before me gets called back and then I'm number one on the callback list.

They pulled 14 routes by us and are giving us new trucks. We all had to get C class lisences. These trucks are going to be 28 feet long. The biggest truck you can drive with that lisence. We still have a lot of guys by us that are 60 to 65 and I'm sure some more are going to retire after they see these trucks.
    Thanks
    Marc

So, if you do get a callback-which I'm sure you will-can the Horde party in a bread truck?
    Brad-Thanks for the news.
-There's pictures up all ready of the Indy Figure displays-just not the toys yet.

Yay! Just checked the new Toy Forum, and there's a guy who has the new stactions, along with a few people who got notified that their shipments are on the way.

With our luck, I'd be willing to bet the stactions show up at GCC a day or 2 before Wizard World......

    Yay! Maybe Stactions next week!!!!!

I read about that Jenna Jameson comic yesterday. Even though there's no exposed boobies, I'll probably check it out.

Nice news on Indy Comics, I know it's been a LONG time since there were any from DH......

Oh! It will be cool if that shipment is the stactions.

I wonder how long it will be before the Skeletor bust starts showing up.

Hey Chicago people... I'll be at Wizard World - Chicago in a couple of weeks. If you're going to the show, please stop by my booth and say "hi". I'd love to meet other Masters fans in person!

Booth #153 (We Have Issues! Publishing / Bailey Records)

    Cheers!

Well, with the end of the DVDs coming, plus the constant talk of a movie, maybe there will be some more news we aren't anticipating, but hoping for.......

That's not a custom? It looks ok, but there's some things that sort of seem off for some reason.

I'm not overly excited about the new head sculpt but I hope that if they're there - that Mattel will have this stuff at WW for us all to see!

I hope they bring it all, but since WW is a smaller show, maybe they'll screw us over and put up a Naruto display instead....

Oh freaking damn it. That new picture makes it all clear. It's a great homage to the original figure, but I really really don't want to buy a new toy line. I love the four horsemen's revisionist look (well all but their version of he-man which sucked). But damn it, if they do make this a toy line I'll drop everything for it, including turtles. That He-Man is how all toys should be made, with the original in mind.

*sobs* I'm going to be so poor. At least I have my health.

Let's just hope that if a new line is actually starting up, they handle it better this time (no more crappy variants that most people don't want, and that others buy mostly for completists sake, and not because they actually like the figures).

And I hope they are readily available, and easy to obtain. Those are my main concerns.
