I'm debating if I want to get the flocked ears version or not. Truthfully, part of my concern is how the Beastman head will be effected by all of this.

Technically the contraversy over the ears being flocked was mainly with the modern head.

In general, I don't think people were complaining about the look of the Beastman head version. The ears on that head should be flocked in all versions of the figure since that head wasn't the one in question, and since the original 80s Mossman figure was flocked in that manner. But I could see where Mattel could misinterpret what people were asking for and end up with not flocking the ears on both heads.

I hope we will get pics soon of the final product. It will help with on my decision to buy any extras, and which version(s) to get if I do.

I like the unflocked ears better and I'm glad thats what the subs are getting. I'm not dropping the extra money for a flocked one.

What do you guys think of the He-Man/Superman 2 pack being a toys r us exclusive? I'm sure a lot of people will be upset to see He-Man at retail but I think it's ****ing awesome and can't wait. I have figures of both characters but I'll totally buy it anyway!

i like the colors on the he-man figure looking like he did in the comic. i'm really looking forward to the skelly set, i'm wondering who they will pair him up with?

Yeah, I got no idea unless they just start doing random DC heroes. Superman WAS the only DC Character that went to Eternia. But there was a lot of slighty different versions of MOTU characters in that issue of DC Comics presents and in the DC MOTU 3 issue mini. So, I think they have a lot to draw from.

I can't wait for the Superman/He-Man 2-pack!!! This is something that I've said I wanted in the past. I don't know about what other DC characters they could use since, as Jimmy said, Superman was the only one featured out of the 4 MOTU-related comics that DC produced(not including the preview insert that was included in all DC Comics for one month or the initial mini-comics that DC produced), but there are definitely some MOTU variants.

I'm curious if any of you have bothered to check out the Matty Forums? I've seen worse message boards out there, but it defintely needs some upgrades to make it more user friendly. I find this site a lot easier to follow(especially for updates to subscribed threads), and that has nothing to do with any sort of loyalty to this place.

I didn't watch the video(bikers scare me) but I love that song. I need to download some classic rock(unfortunately, the stuff I listened to in high school & college is also considered classic rock).

I haven't tried out the Matty forums yet. I may eventually, but I honestly have little reason to.

The only reason I could ever see myself using them would be if I ever have a customer service issue that I can't seem to get resolved by calling up the customer service line, and need to post about it.

Just an FYI on Mossman.... ToyGuru confirmed that for the unflocked ears version, BOTH heads will have unflocked ears (including the Beastman Head).

So if anyone wants traditional, old school 80s MOTU Mossman, you'll have to by the flocked ears version.
