WrestleMania 26 is this Sunday from 6-10. I will be ordering the PPV and there is an invitation to those who wish to watch it. I just ask for some bones thrown my way to cover the cost for the event and food. i finally got a hold of my labtop today, unfortunately i haven't been able to post b/c i've been in the hospital since saturday night. looks like i done caught the diabetes! there are sending me home w/ insulin that i have to administer myself (fun fun) so no more regular pop for me, and my job as offcial taste tester for Erika's pastries will be minimal, and no jimmy you can't have any!!!

i took the week off to spend spring break w/ the kids, yeah great how that is going sp far! thanks alot god!!! i look forward to kicking your ass when/if we meet!

Sorry to hear about that Gabe. That's a wake up call for me if it's not already too late. My dad found out a few years ago that he has diabetes(although his is a mild case since he doesn't need insulin yet) so I know it's in my family. I need to lay off the sody pop & Spam sandwiches and get back to the 32 waist I had 10 years ago.

Sorry to hear that, Gabe. I hope that you are okay and that everything goes well going forward.

Even though I'm not diabetic, I'm trying to make some life style changes just for the general benefits of my health and the loose weight. The key word being trying. It seems like any time my wife and I try to make some changes, it's not too long before we shift into our old habbits.

Just this past weekend when I went grocery shopping, I picked up a lot of fruits and vegetibles (I usually do get some anyway, but I picked up more than I normally have in the past). The past few days, if I get a snack craving, I'm trying to go for some grapes or something like that rather than something more unhealthy. And I'm trying to drink more water than Soda (whether it be regular or diet). I'm not completely cutting Soda out of the picture, but I'm definately trying to reduce my intake, and increase my water intake.

I just want to get healthier. As it is, I'm already on some injections for my psoriasis, so I really don't need to end up adding incline or something like that down the road if I can avoid it.

Dear ****(Gabe)-Moondrake said it best! Welcome to the club!!! I use the pen too(also-Hi Dennis!). It's really not that bad and unfortunately, you'll get used to it. And type 2 is the easiest to control BY FAR!!! Although, I got my diabetes from Sister Mattingly's sweet, sweet vaj! OH YEAH!!!
-On the plus side, now the Horde can do a diabetes walk. Maybe we can get D-Bone to draw us a He-Man holding up a pen needle and have him saying "by the power of grayskull..........I HAVE DIABETES!!!!"
--And Little B, let me point out that the number of Horde members that wear glassed FAR outnumbers the Horde members with diabetes!
-On anther note, today was my first day as Inventory Manager at Petco on 75th & Lemont. It's pretty awesome there, I all ready like it a lot and I'm making more $ than I did at the old job. And I've all ready named all the snakes after the Snakemen! Although, I don't think we'll be able to have Horde meetings there. At least not yet.
-How about for the next meeting we just pick a restaurant? Remember, it doesn't have to be near GCC Wheaton. We could try meeting in Lockport, so Brad doesn't have to drive as far, or somewhere out by Darrel or somewhere in Lisle by Seb or somewhere near Gabe, where we'll all end up dead! OR we can just have Toy Show be the meeting for April. I'm open to anything!....just like Becca!(Last one for today, I PROMISE!!)
