Good time today, good seeing everybody. Thanks for the hookups from Brad and Jason, and the gifts from Jimmy and Darrell.
I actually didn't spend as much as I thought, but I have a feeling all this stuff is going to end up on ebay in a few weeks.
Oh and the NA Bruce Lee guy's name is Nocturna.
how's the battle beast collection coming along?
what was everybody's golden ticket item from toy show?
how was the weather out there, that was my biggest concern, but didn't matter b/c i never made it out!

Had an awesome time at the show this weekend! Great to see everyone, and big thanks to Darrell and Brad for hanging at my booth and helping out. I spent way less money this time then I did in April. I snagged a Green Lantern set I'd been eyeing for a while (but since I rarely go out I paid the extra $5 for it and scooped it up) and got a pristine and awesomely mint Batman: The Animated Series Complete Box set for $30 (that roughly breaks down to $1.76 a disc or just about $0.01 a minute). I didn't venture out for too long due to my ankle; but did see a lot of cool stuff. It was nice to be there on the selling side and taking money in, instead of quickly parting with it at every other booth. If I could cram that cash into my wallet, it would make George Costanza's wallet look like a little girly change pouch. And I had the laptop hooked up and rigged with the internet to accept PayPal as payment which came in handy.
The weather was great today, a little bit of the drizzle and the wind wasn't as gusty as it was yesterday. I did have some amusement with the dude down from me who is either named Tombo or Matt Foley (or Matt "Tombo" Foley); guy came in while me and D were still setting up this morning and commented on how everyone took his tables. We only took one (yesterday when we swiped it, there was no reserve note there nor was anyone set up at that location). I was waiting for him to possible waddle on down and start an issue with my extra table; but after studying this guy for a bit (who clearly lives out of his van down by a river) he couldn't move more than 3 feet without getting winded. Only time I saw him move was when he made his way to the bathroom in a hurry to drop a deuce (unless he had already dropped it and was going to clean up).
After a quick stop at Goody's to get some dinner; I made it home unloaded my stuff and than went to drop off my sister in laws SUV and grab my car that I had lent her (I failed to mention to her that my front tires have zero tread on them and would be better suited for a NASCAR track than any road or highway). After a great turn out this time, I'm feeling pretty good I can rake in just as much in the next show. I still have a bit of stuff that people were interested in and by that time I'm sure I'll have more stuff to part with. After Christmas I'll need to make room for my new Masters figures (I've been buying two of each and at Christmas I open the doubles). With Gygor, Tytus and next years beasts I'll be needing more room. So I'll be planning ahead. I'm still keeping on with getting one to card and one to open (I was thinking of dropping that idea but I realized I can afford to keep up that habit and space isn't an issue to keep the carded ones).
It was nice to have a mini Horde meeting at the show, hope everyone who went had a great time.

Me too!
With today being it's last theatrical showing, we are now done with Michael J. Fox's crappy little time travel movie. When is his good fantasy comedy getting a much deserved re-release?
Paul, you probably already saw this, but I just remembered Jimmy mentioning yesterday that Peter Laird had another issue released of TMNT. It's only available online but here it is...

Here's my BB collection, it's slowed down since it seems like prices are picking up on eBay. I did get my first laserbeast though, hidden in a vintage motu lot.
Thanks for the heads up on the TMNT comic, I totally forgot about it. I'll have to bookmark it and read it later when I have some free time.
Oh and I haven't seen Teen Wolf yet but it's in my netflix queue. I'm looking forward to it.
I am going to have to admit that I did like Teen Wolf more than BTTF.
Thanks
Marc
I'm just not a big fan of time travel and alternate worlds. Gives me a headache. However I do like BTTF as a comedy. Fox and Lyod made it a movie I could enjoy. I just liked Teen Wolf more. Probably what I liked most about them both is that they are a few of my childhood memories that I haven't blocked out. My mother took me to see them both. I wouldn't have probably seen either of them but it was a couple of the few times I remember her acting like a mother.
Thanks
Marc
do any of you guys have any plain white mailers to spare?

I loved the BTTF franchise as a kid, but I'm kind of avoiding it as an adult because I too am afraid it won't hold up. I had a similar experience when I watched Gremlins the other night, which I also loved as a kid.
Never was much of a fan of Teen Wolf.
I think BTTF still holds up pretty well, though at times it's *incredibly* 80s. And I pointed out to my friends the other night at the show that they've only got five years left to give me my flying car.
It looks like I won't be able to make any Black Friday activities. A friend of mine is going to be in town from Boston for Thanksgiving with his family, and it's his birthday, so we're having a party. I'd say we should do something another weekend, but pretty much every weekend in November is shot for me due to work travel from the 6th-15th, followed by my wisdom teeth being removed a couple of days after I get back.

Has it really been since '06 that we last had the McRib? It doesn't seem like it's been that long...

I'm off Black Friday. I usually don't leave the house that day. But I'm good for a meeting. I'm sure that Monday - Wednesday that week will be 13+ hour days each and I'll probably need something to put me back in a good mood.
Thanks
Marc
I'm working the day shift on Black Friday, so I'd love to have a meeting that night.
I love it when a plan comes together.
I think we've gotten it a couple of times since then. It tends to pop up in various places across the country every year, and I think we tend to get it pretty much every October/November. This year is the first time it's been available nationally at the same time since like 1994.

I watched Teen Wolf since it seemed the perfect day to watch it. It kicked ass!
