What does everyone (and in particular, Jimmy) think about the new Thundercats products and look/style?

The new designs are pretty cool, the only one I don't like is Lion-O, his head is too young and anime looking.

The toys look basic/boring except for the Thundertank and the Sword of Omens which look badass. The 'classic' 6" Lion O looks great but it was a pretty terrible photo so I'll wait for better pics.

I put up with X-Men in black leather, all the Bat armies, the S belt buckle, and even a Hulk that looked like a green Stay Puff Marshmellow Man, but the more pics that come out of the new Spidey the more I hate it

I'm usually a Negative Nancy, but I LOVE the new costume. Idk how I feel about the Lizard -- I guess I'll wait to actually see him -- but I couldn't be more excited about this new Spiderman.

While I'm happy to see the webshooters back, everything else about this movie doesn't have me excited.

Emma Stone, imo, looks like Lindsay Lohan's even less attractive sister.

The guy playing Peter Parker is disturbing to look at with his alien neck.

I'm upset that JJJ is nowhere in the movie.

I don't like that it is supposedly based on Bendis' work.

I feel the costume seems to be a bunch of updating & tweaks made for the sole purpose of stroking the ego of some Hollywood producer/director/costume designer who "obviously knows best".

Even though the first Raimi Spider-Man movie is the only one of those I liked, I have a feeling I'll prefer his whole trilogy to this movie. I'm still willing to be proven wrong though. I complained a lot before seeing G.I. Joe, Batman Begins, and Jonah Hex and loved all of them...er...actually Jonah Hex was just as bad as I thought it would be.

20 plus years before you were even floating in your papa's sack, there was a live action Spidey TV show that lasted 13 episodes. This new costume reminds me of the one from the TV show.

And CONGRATULATIONS HORDE!!!! 500 ****ING PAGES BABY!!!!!!!! I'm assuming about 3 pages are actually about He-man news.

I think you accidentally put "THE" in your sentence.

I actually never saw that show but, other than the costume not being a great fit on the guy, I like it better than the one from the new movie.

I don't know how much I like Lion-O being young, but I'll wait to pass judgement. I'll definitely be watching the series. I also just heard that they'll be making an 8" classics line of Thundercats toys!!!!!!!!!!!! I will definitely be picking a few of those up!

From what I've heard he calls on some power almost exactly similar to He-Man to make him age/buff up. There are a lot of rumors flying out there though.

Does anyone have an extra loose complete or moc NA Thunder Punch He-Man to sell? I posted a want thread on he-man.org but I figured I'd ask you guys just in case.

I just hope they spin their weapons in the cartoon. If they learned ANYTHING from MOTU 200x it's that kids love spinning weapons.

Chris Nolan needs to be stopped, and Zack Snyder needs to be slapped down before he starts up... The new Superman casting is almost as ridiculous as last week's preposterous Catwoman casting.

I agree about Nolan(he feels the need to downplay the "super" in superheroes) and maybe Snyder(I haven't really liked his movies other than Dawn Of The Dead), but why are you so down on the casting? He looks like he could play Superman. To be honest, the only thing I've seen with him in it was Stardust and I don't remember if he did a good job or not. I was going to complain about the idea of their casting a Brit as Superman(they refused to cast any Americans in the Harry Potter movies) until I remembered that Superman was an alien in the first place.

For ****'s sake, can't we just wait and see if the movie's good first? Mattingly and Leo wont' remember this,but everyone remembers the Michael Keaton Batman casting uproar, right? I mean, so what if Sebby doesn't LOOK like a beard-less Billy Mays, if he can play the role-MOZEL TOV!!!

Seriously, if you don't need to be on the roads, stay home. Took me an hour & 15 minutes to get from the office in Itasca to my mom's in Lombard - no way I was even gonna try to get all the way to New Lenox.

w/ traffic it took me 35 mins to get home from my office.

EDIT: I just tried to open my front door to see the amount of snow we have to clean up and i can't even open the storm doors w/ the 2 ft+ drifts up against them.

i'll probably have to crawl out my window to clean up.
