EDIT: I just tried to open my front door to see the amount of snow we have to clean up and i can't even open the storm doors w/ the 2 ft+ drifts up against them.

I wasn't really all that impressed by the trailer. It looks almost exactly like the first two movies. Though I'm not the biggest fan of the movies, so it's not like there was much of a chance of any TF3 Trailer exciting me.... I thought that the first movie was okay, but not great, and the second one was basically film-barf.

But still, most of what they showed in the trailer was just the same old redundant slow-motion-transforming-in-mid-air-while-getting ready-to-strike-enemy-with-weapon stuff that we saw in the previous films and their trailers.

The only thing that really stood out as being new or different was that they have that new blond girl instead of Megan Fox. The rest may as well just have been recycled footage from the first two movies as far as I am concerned.

Even though the TF3 trailer didn't do much for me, I did like this commercial quite a bit:

Did anyone notice or have stress marks on the back of the armor on their palace guards? The spots where you can hang there weapons on their backs are weak on all of mine. I'm afraid to hang any weapons because of the plastic possibly snapping.

Hey everybody. I had an interesting discussion with some friends of mine about to the Back to the Future movies and I thought I'd share my thoughts.

First off I want to say that I consider BTTF to be my favorite trilogy ever.

When you think about it, all 3 of the movies are basically the same movie. The only thing different is the year in which the bulk of the movie takes place. But a lot of the same things happen in each movie.

Example 1: Beginning of the movie, Marty travels to a different time.

Example 2: Upon arrival in new time, he runs into a Tannen.

Example 3: After running afoul of a Tannen, a chase scene ensues.

Example 4: The Tannen ends up buried under a pile of manure.

Example 5: Marty gets knocked unconscious and when he wakes up, the first person he sees is whichever character Lea Thompson is playing.

Example 6: The clocktower

Example 7: Stricklands=authority figure

Example 8: Jones=Manure

Again, I absolutely love these movies and could watch them all the time. It turned out to be a very interesting discussion.

If anyone's looking for extra TRU MOTU/DC 2-packs, they're on sale for $20 though Saturday. (2/12)

Just noticed it tonight, and all they had were the 1st 2 sets. Maybe they're trying to clear out some room to make way for the new ones. Either way, I grabbed another Skelly/Lex set for my desk at work. May go back out and grab another He-Man set tomorrow....

You're right, I mean once you break down the 3rd one; it looks almost exactly like the first two movies. I thought that the first movie was great, the second okay, but not great, and the third one was basically regurgitated film. But the formula was just the same old redundant scenes that we saw in the previous two films. Ya know, I kinda feel ripped off now that I think about it.

Faceless One, Bikini Teela, Clawful, Man-E-Faces, & Megator!!!

Only "meh" moment for me was the She-Ra/Supergirl 2-pack. No Wonder Woman? My only guess for including the Linda Danvers Supergirl instead of the Kara Zor-El version is that she was recently re-released w/Lex.

And if they stick to what they said about the figure breakdowns for the year, we still have 2 POP figures coming, and possibly 1 NA, plus Swift Wind. (I'm almost positive that we'll get NA He-Man as one of the 2 remaining bonus figures) Dunno what will happen with the Battle Ram for this year though....
