NYCC I get, but why Power-Con? A couple hundered people as opposed to the thousands who will go to C2E2? Not too bright imo.

Just gotta keep in mind that for the 5 lb Fuddrucker's challenge that they do require at least a 24 hour notice/reservation.

Even if you went 2 days with nothing to eat, that can't be healthy for a person's body. Fuddrucker's is my favorite hamburger but I don't think I could eat more than 1lb. If I got that, it would end up being brought home in a doggy bag. I do want to see what it looks like in person though.

I'd actually probably be OK with the meat, but that much bread would throw my numbers out of control for DAYS, so I really shouldn't do it myself. I WILL be there cheering Dennis on, and Brad if you're going to do it too!!!

No Sorceress bites, but everything else they showed looks good. The jury's still out for me on Sir Laser Lot-need to see some better pics, but my initial reaction is "He *almost* makes Mighty Spector seem tolerable".

Snake MAA is still kind of a wasted slot, IMO, when there are other variants out there people want more. (NA He-Man, DB Skelly, TC Skelly, FF He-Man, etc...) He looks OK, but honestly, he's not different enough from regular MAA to get me excited.

The Griffin's looking better, even though the front feet didn't make the con, and I'm looking forward to nabbing him in June.

Spikor looks cool, but if I had to nitpick, I hope they use a darker purple on the final figure, like the vintage color. Everything else about him is sweet.

Frosta looks fantastic, EXCEPT that face. But, Cornboy did come out and say her face was rush-painted to have her at the show, so I'm sure she'll come out just like the past females.

The Snake Men army builder pack is awesome! I hope I can set aside some extra $$$ and pick up and extra set or 2...

As far as DC goes, I'm glad I signed up for the sub. Rocket Red & Starman don't do a ton for me, but all the rest are awesome! After Mattel having the Batman license for 8 years, we FINALLY get a non-animated Poison Ivy figure. (And she actually looks great!)

And I'm not a big Metal Man fan, but Platinum/Tin came out near perfectly. Black Mask & Mirror Master rock, & Metron is still cool. The only thing I'm really nervous about are the remaining oversized C&C figures. They keep saying minimal new tooling, and I don't know how many more big characters they can do with what they have without coming up w/repaints. (Hope we sure as hell don't get that Black Lantern Swamp Thing)

I actually got a shipping notice this morning for him.

Keep in mind that you aren't going to get a subscription "renewal" notice for him, just a shipping confirmation. Technically the first shipment of any subscription is not a "renewal" since in addition to the break down of what the sub sign up fee was (in this case $0 for the 30th anniversary sub), it also had the breakdown of the first figure as well.


I did get a subscription renewal notice as well for the regular MOTUC sub, though it doesn't list the specific figures. I'm confused, though, because I've gotten no notice at all on my Voltron subscription, which I put in the same order as the regular MOTUC sub.

I got the notice on Monday that my regular sub renewed. No shipping notice. Nothing yet on the 30th Anniversary. On my Matty page I show order in progress for the Feb Sub and same for the date that I ordered the 30th Sub. I checked my credit card that there are two strange charges. One on 02/02 for $6.24 and one on 02/11 for $1.29. Neither say DPI. They say APL. I'm afraid to call customer service. I just might wait it out until I get shipping notice emails.

toyguru sd the february figs were delayed 3 days so they would be shipped a bit later then usual, not weeks or months, but merely a few days!
