I found DCUC Series 6 at target today! They were only $9 each instead of the $12 at wal-mart/meijer. I couldn't resist. They had an extra Superman w/ Mullet, in the regular suit not the black suit. I'd like to trade it because I still need a DCUC series 2 aquaman, the classic one, I found one at meijer but it broke right out of the package so I returned it.

Awesome Indy trailer! Was that Patrick Warburton (aka Brock Samson) as the voice of Indy at the end? Gotta say, they nailed Harrison Ford's likeness. Spring 2009 means less than 5 months away!

Hey guys I was hoping you guys could help me. With all the stores going out of business lately, I'm looking for a new counter for the store. I tried Kay Bee in Yorktown & Fox Valley, but they're closed all ready. Brad, do you know if the one in Louse Joliet is still open? Also, Circuit City is closing. If anyone sees them starting to take orders for the fixtures, please give me a holler so I can either go over and try and get a counter or call them and reserve one. I'd really appreciate it. Thanks guys!

How many did they have, and was there anyone else available? Just curious if they actually got a case of them, or if someone returned some new ones there with an old receipt....

Last night I was at Woodfield. They were doing all the counters and fixtures for 50% off and had all their "Last 3 Days" signs up. I guess that means Monday is their last day.

I rang it up on the price checker and it said more in back. They didn't have Mr. Miracle out so I asked if they could check in back and the guy came out with Mr. Miracle. They had 1 of each except 2 superman.

i saw only the new supes at target yesterday, but i wasn't looking around for someone to look in back for me as i'll probably find shazam and the black suit supes soon. i did fins the rest of the latest saga legends wave w/ the exception of the snowtrooper. still no luck finding a big mf on clearance or any of the battle packs schenes from target lower than $54.

i looked on the NYCC website to see if they had an info on faker and they don't even have him listed as a show exclusive?!?!? i wonder if they are going to have a limit on these, hopefully they allow us to get more than 1 per person!

i wonder what the new line of figures they are revealing. i hope its nothing i am going to really want to get.

Mattel has informed us that MOTUC Skeletor is almost sold out at Matty Collector.
He has sold faster than both He-Man and Beast Man!
So if you want a Skeletor, you best get over there and purchase yours now before he is sold out

Only 11 days, and we're getting that notice. I think it took at least double that time for He-Man & Beast Man. Don't know how much of that is spin or how much is truth - (I'm sure that since they pulled He-Man & Beast Man from the site to sell at NY, they probably pulled a bunch of Skelly as well.)

Either way, get your order in ASAP, if you haven't already!

Thanks for the heads up on the Skeletors.

I already received my 2. But, since both had a lot of the green on their face, and since I'm not a big fan of it, I went ahead and ordered another. Hopefully I end up with a yellow face one, and If I don't, I will try to paint one to make it look that way.

I am hesitant to customize my loose one that I have now for fear of messing it up and having it look worse, with no 'back-up' to speak of (I want to keep the other one MOC, so opening it is out of the question).

So, I'm getting one more and eating the extra shipping cost. It's better than me trying to paint my current one, messing it up, then having to pay ebay prices later on.

Hey MOTU fans,

A few updated for everyone. First off, Skeletor has been flying out of our distribution center much quicker than He-Man or Beastman. If you want old bones face for your collection, now is the time to place an order.

We are going to cut off sales when we have a few hundred left so he can make it to SDCC along with the few extra He-Man and Beastman we have. We won't be doing this with every figure going forward, but since He-Man and Skeletor are keynote figures (and we happen to have some extra Beastman since he was an early figure), we'd like to have a few pieces oif each at the summer shows to help promote the line.

Second off, looks like all is set to get Faker to NYCC. This will be your chance to buy the Evil Robot of Skeletor (well should that be "serving Skeletor"? Well you get the point!) early at the show before he goes on sale at MattyCollector.com on March 15th. He will be $20.00 and limited to 4 per guest. The plan right now is for Faker to go on sale at the start of the show, but we like to be careful with announceing info like this because plans do change. The Faker at the show will be the same figure offered online in March.

Third, we are getting geared up to offer the subscription service for MOTUC. Once it goes into effect, we will offer the remaining 2009 figures in one package deal. Ideally we will offer this package in two ways, 1: Have each figures shipped to you as it is released each month, or 2: have the option to save on shipping and have all figures mailed to you on Dec 15th.

We are still crunching the numbers to make this happen, so stay tuned for future updates!

WOW - Pulling Skellys to sell at SDCC. Good & bad at the same time. Subscription service? Good idea, but with all the problems Mattel is STILL having with DCUC, I'm not going to risk the ship everything on 12/15 option. Probably just sign up for the monthly deal.....

Hey Jimmy. I got some info on those WWE DVDs you were asking me about on Saturday. I ended up pulling a double shift at Best Buy today and after we closed I was looking at the DVDs. It looks as if the DVDs are of some sort of Legends of Wrestling program that aired on the WWE 24/7 on demand. There looks to be a lot of reall cool matches, so I will probably be picking them up.

For those of you collecting DCUC, I was at Target today, and there were a few of the Wave 6 figures there (which I think is the most recent wave... I don't really keep up with this line much). I picked up a Mr. Miracle and a Dr. Impossible (which appears to be a variant of Mr. Miracle). If anyone wants either of them or both, let me know. If no one claims them within a few days, I will take them back to the store since it's not a figure that I care about.

I also picked up a Superman in the blue and red suit with long hair, which I am hanging on to. But if anyone wants the build-a-figure piece from it, let me know you are welcome to it.

If anyone can keep an eye out, I am interested in getting a black suit Superman, a Shazam/Captain Marvel, and a regular Batman Beyond from the last wave. I don't really care about any of the rest of the more recent figures.

Does anyone know if it's still possible to get a 'regular' Batman and Superman from the original wave? I may also want to get a Lex Luthor and a Bizzaro if possible. If anyone knows where I can get any of these figures for a decent price, let me know.

Was there ever a DCUC version of the Joker in any wave? In addition to the characters that I've mentioned, I am interested in getting figures of any characters that appear in the MK vs. DCU video game, as long as their figures at least come close to resembling those versions of the characters.

I'll take those figs off your hands if you don't want them. And I could use the BAF piece too.

I have a carded Superman from the original series with the red and black "S" if you're interested in that version of him. Lex Luthor is being re-released later this year in a two-pack with Supergirl. Bizzarro is easy to get for under $15. Check Amazon. The price on him fluctuates, but I've seen it as low as $9.99

Rumor has it they'll be doing a Joker figure from the upcoming Gentleman Ghost buck. Not sure when, though. I have the old Mattel Batman series Joker in my display and it works fine. They also repainted that figure and included it in the DC Superheroes line. Not sure what either of those go for these days.

Rundown for characters in MK vs DC:

Superman (classic) - Available from the older DCSH line (shouldn't be too expensive)
Batman - DCUC Wave 1 - getting re-issued in March/April with DCUC Wave 7 (Although the ones from the older DCSH line are closer to his appearance in the game)
Wonder Woman - DCUC Wave 4 (might still be able to find at retail)
Green Lantern - DCUC Wave 3 (saw a bunch at Meijer on Saturday)
Shazam!/Captain Marvel - DCUC Wave 6 - shipping now
Flash - getting released in the upcoming DCUC Wave 7 (March/April-ish)
Deathstroke - DCUC Wave 3 (might still be able to find at retail)
Catwoman - available from the older DCSH line - not cheap
Lex Luthor - available from the older DCSH line - not cheap (As Grant said, he's getting re-issued in an e-tailer exclusive 2-pack later this year with the DCSH blue outfit Supergirl)
Joker - available from the old 4H Batman line - (as Grant said, he's RUMORED to be redone with the upcoming DCUC Wave 8 Gentleman Ghost body)
Darkseid - available from the older DCSH line (though his head is too small - RUMORED to get redone in the DCUC line)

And as Grant also said, Bizarro from the DCSH line should be relatively cheap to get online. Batman Beyond is kind of hit or miss. You might still be able to find him at retail, but you'll really have to look. Mattel just announced that they're gonna have the leftover KB exclusive unmasked Batman Beyond & Sonic Arm Cyborg sent to online e-tailers, so you can check for either of those.

I saw my first wave 6 figure tonight at the Wally by Jimmy's store. They had 1 Shazam!, but he had some bad paint, so I left him. I'm hoping Fred can come through for me with Target while they're still on sale....

Oh, and Mattingly - TAKE OUT THE FREAKIN' GARBAGE!!!!!
