    Happy Birthday Moondrake!

Marc, I just left you a message on your phone (at the number is that you PMed all of us when we met up at your place for the last meeting) regarding meeting up to settle up on the TRU figures.

Gabe, I should be able to help you out with Hordak and the weapons pack (provided that they don't sell out in 1 minute like Moss Man and my order doesn't go through since the items aren't locked down to the cart). I'm already ordering those same items for myself, so I can just increase the quantity. How many of each do you need?

I was just going to post to see if anyone wanted to join forces on the Weapons Paks - Brandon, any chance you could get two Weapons Paks for me as part of the order?

Is there anything new in this Hordak reissue? I'm probably not going to bother with it.

I would also like two weapon packs if Dynamo or someone else could please hook me up. I was going to try and see if Tara would try ordering them from her iPhone, but she can't be certain that she won't be taking care of a customer at that time. If we don't have enough people able to help out on the ordering and we max out, I'll drop mine to only one to open up a slot for someone else.
    Thanks
    Marc

No problem, I can add in weapons packs for both of you.

So right now I'm getting 3 Hordaks (2 for me, 1 for Gabe) and 9 Weapons packs (3 for me, 2 for Gabe, 2 for Sebby, and 2 for Marc).

To answer your question, Sebby, there's not anything different about the Hordak figure, itself (that I am aware of anyway). If you are a MOC collector, the semi-interesting thing is that he's supposed to have his proper title of "Ruthless leader of the evil horde" instead of the error on the previous release with the redundant "evil leader of the evil horde". Its a minor detail, but one some people care about.

I already got both the original and reissues of He-Man and Skeletor anyway, so I intend to do the same with Hordak and She-ra.

Looks like the weapons pack issue was a glitch, and any orders placed today will be canceled.

Well, C2E2 was okay, but not great. I made a more detailed post about it in the C2E2 thread in the other discussion forum, but to make a long story short, while what was there was alright, it just isn't an all-weekend con. Both my wife and I were pretty under-whelmed by it in that sense. After being there for only 2 hours (which actually seemed like longer), we had already walked the floor a few times.

We canceled our hotel reservations for the weekend and are actually at home right now. We may go back Sunday for a little bit (that's iffy at this point), but that's about it. We did pick up some cool stuff, though.

    Chicago Comic Con

Hey anyone going to the Chicago Comic Con? I won a signed comic and I have no idea what it is. It would be cool if someone can pick it up. Please PM me and I would be sure to compensate for the time and troubles.

i made out alright... well, aside from Mattel being nowhere in sight but in glass cases. we took third in the costume contest- Skeletor, Evil-Lyn and Tri-Klops. not to mention all the awesome He-man.org members we ran into, and other C2E2 guests who enjoyed the costumes. also got sketches from Tim Seeley (big MOTUC fan) of our characters.

thanks for saying hi everyone. hope some of you will post pics, our costumes didn't make for taking photos of our own, and our handler wasn't with us.

I thought the con itself was kinda "eh", basically what I had thought of Wizard the last couple of years. I wasn't super interested in the big companies that had displays there, so seeing the ones who weren't at Wizard wasn't a big deal to me. That said, I had a really good time seeing Jimmy, Jeremy, and a bunch of my artist friends, some of whom I hadn't seen in a while. I also enjoyed seeing Neil Gaiman's reading / Q&A. So, all told, it had the same elements that I enjoy at Wizard, with the downside of it being harder to get to and more expensive to park at. I think just going for one day was enough.
