thats nice to know! he was one of my first few customs that i did along w/ the shakkaran(sp?) crystal demonic he-man and a few others. i still never finished the final form of the demon its still sitting here on my "to do" shelf.

Excellent news! Got the shipping confirmation on the Matty Order, and the correct quantities that we wanted of each item are being sent (none of those pointless extras).

The box is scheduled to arrive on Monday. A little late compared to most orders, but not bad all things considered.

At least I know now that going straight to the escelation department rather than calling that so-called "customer service" number on the Matty site actually wields positive results!

My understanding as of right now is that Count Marzo is the only MOTUC item going on sale in July. With that being the case, I'm not planning on taking any time off to be online to order since I think at least most of us are covered by our subscriptions for that figure.

I have the day scheduled off of work on August 2nd, which is the day that the Matty versions of the SDCC items (like Adam/Orko, and Molarr/Skeletor) are supposed to go on sale. So, being online to place a bulk order will not be a problem.

However, on Monday August 16th, which is/should be the next regular 'monthly' sales date, the person who backs me up at work will be off and I most likely won't be able to take the day off. As of right now, the only figure coming out that day that I'm aware of is Whiplash. Am I correct on this, or are there any other bonus figures or oversized "beasts" scheduled?

I am hoping to get an additional whiplash beyond what I'm already getting from my subscription because he has 2 heads. If I miss out on an extra, it's not the end of the world, but it would be nice to have. If need be, I can attempt to place an order from work if I have no other option, but with the kind of computers we have here and how insane the Matty sales have gotten, it's going to be iffy. If anyone else (whenever you know, I realize it's still kind of early) is able to be online to order that day, and wouldn't mind helping me out, that would be cool.

I know it's kind of early to be thinking about August, but since I already know now that I will have a conflict on the 16th and I'm usually placing these bulk orders, I may as well make that known now.

As far as my schedule goes, it doesn't look like I can help out with any ordering until 09/15 when I'm on vacation. I'm also open that week to hosting a meeting at my place.
I don't need anything extra for July, but do need help for 2 of each of the 2 packs.


I am scheduled off for both 07/04 and 07/05 (although it could change between now and then). Did you guys want to try and hook up over that weekend? Maybe meet up at a park or forest perserve or whatever and have a bbq?

Surprisingly, my power stayed on, but I ended up sitting in a stairwell (the designated tornado shelter) at work for over an hour. It was sort of interesting - I was in there with my boss, his boss, and some other higher-ranking managers, and people were a little more open and talkative than usual.

Brandon - I can try to order stuff on the August release date for you, just can't 100% guarantee I'll be able to be in my office. I suppose I could put some sort of "Vendor Call" on my calendar from 10:30-11:30 so no one schedules me for a meeting.

The ear loop piece on my jawbone ear piece broke yesterday. I ordered some new ones from their website last night. I got an e-mail confirmation and I can't believe it, its from Digital River. Watch them screw this up and for the rest of the 2010 sub I get ear loops every month.

Cause it's a 1 year subscription and next month will have been the year. It shows it expiring on the 14th of July, though, and I think the July fig goes on sale on the 15th. Anyways, I'll get a new sub when they're offered during SDCC, so I'm not worried, but I'll have to call them and see if I have to sit on the computer on the 15th. Unless one of you guys know. It may have been addressed somewhere else on the .org, but I only go to this thread usually.

But the subscription didn't technically start until January, so it wouldn't end until after the December figure comes out. It's supposed to be a year from the time that the subscription goes into effect (which is January), not from the time that you placed the order (which would have been late July/early August last year). I wonder if something else happened to cause your sub to get canceled. You may want to call up customer service. I'll PM you the number to go to the escelation department (they are 100 times better than the regular customer service department).

Did anyone else get one of these notices? I just checked my email and I have not received any such notice.

Jimmy, since you're the resident 80's guru, I have a question. Did Larry Hama write all of the C.O.P.S. file cards? I heard that today and, unless I just forgot, I don't think I ever knew that. He supposedly even made one of the C.O.P.S. characters related to Beachhead.
