Oh boy, I'm going to have a HIDA scan on Monday (it's some kind of Cat-scan thing or something similar to check my gallbladder function). This should be fun ...

I guess the good news is that since I'm taking Monday off for this, I'm now only working one day next week! (I already had Wednesday scheduled off as well as the following Monday to have a 6-day weekend for Thanksgiving).

The Black Friday meeting's going to be at my house in Lombard. What does everyone say, 7pm? If people want alcohol someone please volunteer to bring it - I'm only two weeks away from being able to take care of that myself, but unfortunately, that won't cut it in time for the meeting. We can order pizza from my place.

I'll send out a PM to everyone with address, etc. within the next day or two. How many people think they'll be able to make it?

Gabe - 2 King Grayskulls, 1 Weapons Pack, 1 BA He-Man, 1 Gygor = $119

Marc - 2 King Grayskull's, 2 Weapons Packs = $72

Sebby - 2 King Grayskull's, 1 Weapons Pack = $59

Grant - 1 Gygor = $35

Jimmy - 1 Roboto = $25

Moondrake - 1 Battle Cat - $30


I know Sebby said that he can't make it to this next meeting, which is fine, we'll settle up later.

If anyone else that I have stuff for is unable to make it, please let me know. I will leave any items for people who cannot make it at home.

I just came back from Wal-Mart and got a few figures. I'm still looking for Gold, though, so if you find him and wouldn't mind grabbing me one, that would be cool.


Brad - I grabbed you a few figures. I got you the Alan Green Lantern, Zatanna, and Kamandi. The total comes to $49 if you want them.

The only other figures that they had besides that was another Zatanna and Alan Green, which I grabbed for myself.

Wow! That was some catching up! Been outta the loop. My Hard Drive crapped out on my laptop on Tuesday and I've been computer less till now! I think I can make next Friday, depend on how tired I am. The teeth are better than I expected. Had my first real solid food last night (beef from Portillos) though I had them dip it a bunch of times so it was soggy, but the pain hasn't been too bad - all I've needed for it is the prescription strength ibuprofen he prescribed. Still not ready to take on the Belly Bubster tonight, but I plan to at least be there to cheer on the challenger they picked. (6pm! Tonight! Uncle Bub's!)

Not sure if anyone else collects DCUC. Brad ended up not needing the figures that I picked up as he got hooked up with the entire wave recently.

So, if anyone else wants them, I have Alan Scott Green Lantern, Zatana, and Kamandi. If anyone wants them, please let me know ASAP. Otherwise I'm planning to return them to the Wal-Mart that I got them at Tuesday (tomorrow) night.

I actually just got back from returning the extra Alan Scott and Kamandi.

I tell you what, though, if you want, you can have the Alan Scott that I picked up for myself. I have not opened it.

In all honesty, I wasn't THAT excited about the figure. I was mainly getting it because I have a few other Green Lantern related DCUC figures already, and wanted to add to the collection, but he will look out of place next to them, and I'm not really all that thrilled with this incarnation of Green Lantern anyway.

Plus, I picked up a few Wave 15 figures from the comic shop earlier tonight that I want much more than the Alan Scott figure, and spent more cash than I should have (not to mention that I want to get the 2 new DC/MOTU packs whenever I find them, I just got back from TRU by me and they only had the older sets). So, I can do without the Alan Scott figure.

I'll bring him to the meeting on Friday if you plan to be there.


I am still looking for and wanting a Gold figure, though, if you or anyone finds one.

Has anyone seen the new MOTUC VS DCUC 2 packs yet? To be honest, I still haven't seen the second wave of the DCU Retro-Action line at ToysRus(I ended up getting mine at a comic store) and they were supposed to be out over the summer.
