Only "meh" moment for me was the She-Ra/Supergirl 2-pack. No Wonder Woman? My only guess for including the Linda Danvers Supergirl instead of the Kara Zor-El version is that she was recently re-released w/Lex.

And if they stick to what they said about the figure breakdowns for the year, we still have 2 POP figures coming, and possibly 1 NA, plus Swift Wind. (I'm almost positive that we'll get NA He-Man as one of the 2 remaining bonus figures) Dunno what will happen with the Battle Ram for this year though....

I'm happy with most of the announcements as well.



Man-E-Faces just looks awesome. They did a good job of making him look more like the card back design. Apparently there will be a vote as to whether or not he is made in the colors of the actual original figure or the art on the cardbacks. I'm kind of torn as to which I would prefer, but since both options look good to me, I'll be cool with whatever we get (hopefully we'll eventually get both).



Megator looks great. Not much more to say there.



I'm surprisingly happy with Clawful. He was never really one of my favorite figures in the original line, and I much preferred his redesign in 200X (I didn't care for his personality in the show, but the design, itself, was awesome). I think part of it was that the old figure didn't quite look like he was actually some kind of mutant-crab person. He looked more like a human wearing armor and a Mexican restling mask or something. His arms were more of a standard human flesh tone with his claws being read (looking to me like he was wearing gloves). Something always bugged me about that.

But this new Clawful figure looks good. They did a decent job sticking to the classic design while kind of shying away from that man-in-a-costume look that I never cared for. Yeah, his arms are still a different color, but they are more orange than flesh-tone, and there is more of a transition from one color to the other. So, it looks more natural. And his head doesn't look much like a mask anymore (the details don't look as 'flat' as they did on the original figure's head).



I really hope the Faceless One comes with 2 heads, because I'm really not digging the one in the pictures. He has too much of a face. The rest of him looks spot-on, but the head isn't quite right. This was the character that I was most looking forward to as far as anyone created for the 200X series goes, so I'm hoping that gets fixed.


Blone Bikini Teela is kind of "meh" for me. I mean, yeah, she has the hot scantily-clad thing going on, but from a character stand-point, she holds no real meaning to me. But, she's still a cool looking figure, so I won't mind getting her.



Regarding the She-Ra/Supergirl 2-pack, is there even any difference between that version of She-Ra and the regular figure that we already have? Other than the fact that she comes with the silver/gray sword (which is a moot point for me anyway after the recent weapons packs and extra Adora sword that I already have), the figure, itself, looks pretty much identical to the one that we got. Maybe she has a different shade of gold paint or something, but she doesn't look like a specific different version of the character like the other DC/MOTU 2-packs have in regards to the MOTU characters. I still may get it as I don't have any Supergirl figure in my DC collection, and this one will work just fine.

I always liked Clawful. His design and color palette always seemed fine to me. I think the red claws and flesh color helps break up the color nicely. And speaking of Mexican wrestling masks, when I was living in Texas I would watch some of the lucha libre and saw an outfit that was a clear nod to Skelotor and another had a mask that could've been based off Clawful. If I read correctly, that She-Ra is supposed to be the Official Ballin' Edition packed in with Supergirl

Pretty sweet Indy figures. Are they supposed to be a pack or are they single issues?

Out of everything shown at Toy Fair I'm most excited for the classics Lion-O. Followed very closely by Clawful who was one of my first vintage figures and is an all time favorite, and then the Indy SDCC figures. Honorable mentions go to the Gremlins line, Mortal Kombat coming back, and finally a Rita Repulsa figure from Power Rangers... yeah I went there.
