The Snakemen pack is $40 with the subscription. Any ordered outside of the subscription will be $44.

I believe the new weapons pack is $18 since it contains many new weapons that aren't just repaints.

Today is do or die for MOTUC. Apparently they've got 91% of the necessary subscription base to move forward. I know I'm the last person who should be posting this considering I don't collect the line and haven't signed up for a sub, but if you want more MOTUC you had better sub-up by tonight!

I'd be disappointed to see the line crash. I will pick and choose this year's figures. Ram Man in particular looks awesome! But I won't commit to every figure with a sub.

Anyone get the DC sub? That's not looking too hot... The "gauge" is still well below the minimum...

I totally caved and ordered 2 subs again this year.

I just can't afford to not get my MOTU fix and not willing to pay anymore than I'm already used to dishing out for these toys.

91%? I don't see this going through. The general feel is that they produce 15,000 to 20,000 of each. I could be wrong. That is way too much left to hit that last 9%.

Only way I see this going down now is:
They extend the subs for another week.
Run with it and say that management will bite the bullet.
Or, DOS will be $30.

I'm one of those people that think the worst so if anything better happens it seems like a win. So in my mind, its done.

I've been thinking about it a lot this week. If Classics ends and restarts in a different scale and or style, I'm out. Money is just too tight anymore.

They can say they got three good runs out of me. And honestly I would have never guessed we would have gotten 2002 and Classics. Classics was a huge shocker for me after the way 2002 ended in a train wreck.

What I'm wondering is 2014 going to be that much harder to sell us with fewer figures. I'm trying to figure this out in my head. They need X about of figures to make the sub work. Is that number based on a certain number of each figure or total.

Using round numbers, lets say they need 10,000 of each figure. So the sub is 12,000 based on one a month. If we only get 6 figures next year, does that 10,000 per figure still stay in effect or do they need to sell double the amount of figures to cover the cost?

We're not going to know anything concrete about the sub for at least a week, unless we managed to get the 100% minimum. Like DC last year, they kept going back & forth for a month or so after all was said and done before finally revealing their plans. If we're short, they're gonna look at as many options as possible before making a decision. At over 90%, I can't see them throwing it all away-the amount of money they would have to refund + credit card processing fees and being that close is enough to make them go ahead with 2013. I'd almost bet they'd extend the deadline another week or so, before doing anything else, even though they said from day 1 that they wouldn't.

Another option I keep seeing is instead of $25/figure, they up it to $27-$30. They cannot do this for subbers - they'd have to cancel ALL subscriptions and start over, as they're legally bound to sell at the price point they advertised.

We'll hear something in the morning, I'm sure, even if it's just a "We didn't quite make it, but we're weighing our options before giving the final decision." or "We're still counting numbers" or "We have the power!"

I finally got to see The Amazing Spider-Man this week. I liked it, but wish they hadn't redone the origin story again (although I realize it's a different movie universe). One question - I don't read any of the comic books, but was the stuff about Peter's parents being involved with some sort of secret research in any of the comics continuities, or was that created for the movie?
