-I talked to NECA on Monday and ordered another case of wave 2 stactions(So Marc, they should be here by the end of the week)AND the Sorceress statue was in stock so I ordered one of those as well. That means the diamond ones should'nt be too much longer!

And I do read some American comics. I read "Sandman". And "Hellboy". And I've even dipped into the Marvel universe with "1602". I liked the movies for Spider-Man, the X-Men, and others. It's just that there's JUST SO MUCH of the various comics in the US lines that I know I'd never keep up.

Ugh, the Tri-Klops statue is ALSO officially out.dorrmann has a thread in the "new" forum with pics of both, and all 4 statues together. (They slightly changed the packaging from the 1st two....) My poor wallet that's already hurting.....
But, at least from seeing pictures, I must say that I'm disappointed with the Sorceress, but Tri-Klops looks SO much cooler than I thought he'd be. (After all, it is just another Tri-Klops piece of merchandise....) I'm sure I'll change my tune on Sorceress once I see her in person, but we'll see, whenever they show up.....
Oh, and the Grayskull door does NOT come with either of the 2 new statues. I wonder if it's going to be a mail-away, or if it's even going to be produced.....

They're going to be doing a minicomic series with the Transformers set in the early days of the Industrial Revolution, reimagining them in a steampunk style.

Compu-Sorry I didn't stop yesterday morning, I was really really late for work!
Not much going on right now. Still on the job hunt. I submitted my resume and cover letter to the Medical Group my sister & her friend work for. They have like 20 or so offices in DuPage County, and I listed 5 available positions I was interested in. Hopefully they'll give me a call this week, or I'll call them on Thursday. Failing that, my sister brought up the possibility that if something doesn't happen for me soon, she'd be willing to have me babysit her kids (my nephew is 3 and my niece is 7) and pay me what she currently pays their day care, which would be roughly what I made at Target. Plus, I could bring Alex along and still see him every day.
On toy news, if anybody happens to come across a DC Superheroes chase Bane (The chase has the teddy bear included) I'm looking for one, and any help is appreciated.
I'm going to be putting a few items on ebay in the meantime to get some extra cash so I can at least pay my bills and have some gas/food money since I'm STILL waiting on friggin' Target to get me my unpaid vacation time. Not sure if anybody's' interested, but here's what I'm listing:
Video Games: Chrono Trigger (complete for SNES), Mega Man X2 & X3 (cart only for SNES), Samba De Amigo + 1 set of maraca controllers (Dreamcast - game complete, maracas are sealed and 1st party)
Statues: 1997 15" Witchblade by Clayburn Moore, 1999 15" The Darkness by Clayburn Moore (possibly my Diamond edition Lady Death 13" statue by Clayburn Moore-haven't seen any on ebay in a long time, so I'm not sure what it'd bring in....) I'm also gonna drop my Mer-Man AP bust, but I figured I'd give the Horde 1st dibs before I put it in the trade forum. If anybody in the Horde wants it, it's $45, which was what I paid. Just let me know....

It was a rather uneventful day. Breakfast with my mother and wife and that was really about it. I scored Lois & Clark Season 2, Adventures of Superman Season 1 & 2, and I got BTAS 1, but it was a mistake and will be exchanged for "THE" Batman Season 1. I also got a giftcard from Best Buy so I'm all set for JL Season 1 in a few weeks.
Since my wife has been sick, we've been spending a lot of time catching up on boxed sets. We did BTAS 4, Supes 1 & 2, and we're through the second disk of Smallville Season 1. I forgot how good that show was. I haven't been on top of it in a while.

Ouch. As if "Super Day" wasn't already going to be bad enough on the wallet, they've just officially announced the new direct to DVD Superman:TAS movie "Brainiac Attacks" for the same day. This is in addition to the following Superman releases slated for the same day. (6/20/06)
Justice League Season 2
Lois & Clark Season 3
The Adventures of Superman Seasons 3 & 4
Superboy Season 1
Krypto the Superdog Volume 1(?)
Along with special editions of all 4 Christopher Reeve Superman movies
I think all that's left is if Warner decides to rush the release of Smallville Season 5, (which last I read is still rumored for Fall, closer to the premiere of Season 6) and I'd officially have to start ******* myself out to fat chicks to pay for all this!
The 4 Superman movies don't come out until fall. And you can just pull a Dennis and sell them back 2 days later!
