So Jimmy, I assume you've heard about the Mattel Con Exclusive this year? If not, let me enlighten you - JLU Solomon Grundy! Surprising.....

On somewaht sadder news, Mattel has failed to get the license for the non-Superman/Batman DC Universe, so Once the initial 5 waves of the DC Superheroes line are out, I wouldn't be surprised to see this line get cancelled. So anybody expecting to see 4H versions of Green Arrow/Wonder Woman/Aquaman/Green Lantern/Booster Gold etc...., can now go write more nasty letters to Mattel telling them how F-d up they are.....

To anyone looking for Bane with his Teddy Bear, I haven't had any luck yet. I'm seeing plenty of Banes, no bears.

Also, to the ML collectors - The date I'm hearing on the Wal-Mart wave is 05/15. I'm also hearing that they will be in the Ad that month. I just might get there early that day if they are in the Ad.
    Thanks
    Marc

Sounds good, and if what I've been reading is accurate, with the wave consisting of 9 characters & 3 variants (AOA Wolverine, Sentry & Ant-Man), you would think 9 regular + 3 variant=12 figures=12 figures per case=even case pack w/all variants in each case. Everything I've been reading on the net is saying that is how it will happen. Of course, you can never tell with net news, or w/Toy Biz. Only other thing I've heard is that all 9 regular figures will have different parts of Giant Man, and all 3 variants will come with the same 10th piece. So as of right now, it looks like you will need to score 1 variant just to complete Giant Man....

I'm hearing one per case as well. With all the pallets that are going to be out there, and the even pack cases, these shouldn't be a problem. I just preordered series 14,15, the Young Avengers boxed set, Monsters boxed set, HOM boxed set, and series 1 of the face off two packs. I'm not sure if I'm going to do the 12 inch line or not.

I opened my series 2 stactions today. Again, it brings a tear to my good eye wishing these were action figures.
    Thanks
    Marc

Wow, it's been a while! I hope everyone is doing alright.

As for me - I had my two tests done last week. Nothing earth shattering. I am scheduled for one more test on the 10th of April. Then the doctors should have all the information they need to make a decision on what needs to be done. I'm on some antibiotics right now because they took a biopsy last week during the tests. I hate pills. As days go, I have good ones and I have bad ones. It's really just a craps shoot! I just wish I could string a week of good ones together!

I'm out of town from March 28th to the 6th of April(for work, in Washington DC ), but I hope to see you guys sometime! I miss the Horde!

    Take it easy, TTYL,

I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick some @$$, and I'm all out of bubble gum.

Just got back from seeing "V for Vendetta", and I gotta say, for having no previous knowlegde about the book(s), it was really cool. And mark my word, you're gonna see TONS of "V" costumes this Halloween.....

Also on another note, if anybody still needs the MOTU Best Of UMDs for PSP, I found the Season 2 one at Best Buy on Friday for $9.99. They didn't have the Season 1 disc, so if anyone sees it for like $10-$15 please grab it for me! Oh, and the Best Buy I was at yesterday had like 30 copies of Danger Mouse seasons 5 & 6 out, which doesn't street until Tuesday.....

Jimmy - you have a PM!!!

EDIT: I just read in the "Other" forum that Wave 2 of the 4H DC Superheroes are hitting Targets now. (Superman, Supergirl, Bizarro, Doomsday) Go get 'em! (Just 4 more figures I'm gonna be behind on now.....)

I saw that too about DCSH2. I might have to pick up some TP from Target today anyway so I'll check it out.

Does anyone what wants in on the Wal-Mart ML wave want to put together a special wishlist for these? Or do we all feel that there are going to be enough of them that it shouldn't be a problem?

BTW - Skull, did you get your vacation pay yet?
    Thanks
    Marc

While not the DC SUper Heroes I DID find the Sueprman Returns figures yesterday at a Walmart in Hodgkins(We were visiting my sister-in-law). They had trays of them like the Walmart FF figs or Batman Begins ones. They also had trays of The Batman, but no Batgirl. All they had was Superman, no thuggs(WORD) or Lex Lethur. I got one and that will be it for me for Superman Returns toys.
-I'll go to a few Targets for DC Super Heroes today. I aaume none of us have any? If I find them, I'll pick up everything I can. I'm getting them all,so if anyone sees them, let me know.
-Besides the Sorceress statue this week, we're also getting Cult Classics Series 3, if anyone needs them. It's Bubba Ho Tep, John McClain, and I can't remember who else.

I'm good for a set of series 2, Jimmy. I'm not sure if I'm going to make it to Target or not today. I have a huge "honey do" list that I'm working on.
    Thanks

I'm guessing that the Wal-Mart wave won't be too terrible to find, but again, you never know. Marc, I finally got my vacation pay last Tuesday, after calling the integrity hotline, who suggested I call the TR hotline, who told me that they paid it out on 3/10. So of course I call the store, and the operator said yeah, it's been here for a week & a half.... Surprisingly, they paid the right pay rate and the right number of hours, but for some stupid reason, they decided to withhold 35% of my gross pay instead of the usual 20% or so. I'm done dealing with them, so I'll just have to wait until tax time next year to get that missing $90.....

I know we got the Season 2 UMD, but I have yet to see the Season 1 UMD, but I will keep my eyes open. Also our copies of Danger Mouse Seasons 5 & 6, were put out, but because they dont come out until Tuesday, I put them back in the warehouse.

BTW, did anybody get the Super Mario DVDs yet. I managed to snag one at my Best Buy and paid like $17 with my discount
Thank you Mario, but our Princess is in another castle.

Thanks, Jimmy! I'll try to stop in tonight or early next week to pick it up, since I'm out of town this weekend. As for Claymore - I don't think so. The name isn't ringing a bell.
