I'd have to dig up that scan.
I have no idea where it is off the top of my head.

Earl Norem's art rocks he made amazing battle scenes.

I am a huge fan of Earl Norem and I thank him for putting out so many cool MOTU pics. Since I saw his first art as a kid I was a fan. He always draws the characters in very Dynamic poses. His MOTU cover for the 200x comic was amazing and now the art card from the S1V2 DVD. Wow what a card!!!

I want to know what other people think of him.

    EXCELLENCE...

That's how I describe Earl Norem's artwork. My first exposure to his artwork was when I found a couple of his Marvel Comics storybooks, The Fantastic Four: The Island of Danger; Spider-Man: The Big Top Mystery; and Transformers: The Great Car Rally and Battle for Cybertron

I still have these books even today, strictly for their artwork. I wish they could interview him for the He-Man DVDs.

    Howdy

Okay, now it may not be justified that I comment as I have only seen very few things that Norem has done: namely the art card and the pictures here.

All I have to say is, I don't like his representation of the human face from what I have seen. Now, I like his Transformers and Spider-Man, just not the faces of the Fantastic Four and I only think his representation of He-Man is the best because Timm's, Hughes, Jimenaz's and Mack's all suck on the He-Man front.

Now I know I have just been detrimental to what all of you here class as an inspiration and genuis, but it's always nice to get different perspective's

I agree! His style can never be mistaken for another artist. It's ashame that he doesn't get the credit he deserves. He's a true legend of his craft! He's one of the few people I'd like to meet and thank him for the positive impact he's made on me with his work early in my life. He's one of a kind!Did he draw any of the art work on the original MOTU figure /vehicle or playset packaging or boxes?

A big influence on my art growing up as a kid, and I still love his work today! His illustrations always had a story baked right into it, capturing a magical moment, and his style was the definative look for MOTU in so many ways.
    Thanks Earl Norem!

He created so many good MOTU scenarios, the fight scenes were/are amazing.
Dynamic poses, great anatomy and Eternia looks at it's best on his paintings.
    Norem you are the best!!

    Hey Everyone,

I am a huge fan of Earl Norem's art! I think everything he and William George did "MOTU", allowed for my imagination to grow, and for my love of many forms of "MotU" art to grow. These people are geniuses. Thank you, so much.

Mattel please, buy the He-Man and She-Ra cartoons from Entertainment Rights. If you owned Both Filmation related "MotU" cartoons, plus "NA" and "MYP" cartoons, you would be able to distribute any or all 4 cartoons to Television in the lead up to another relaunch or a live action movie. Plus, you could include Filmation and "NA" animated characters in "MotU:C"!

    Long Live 'MOTU'!

I hope with all my might that you guys are able to get him for at least one of the She-Ra art cards. He's the one that did the artwork on that one classic She-Ra puzzle, right? Or am I mistaken?

Here you go. I had a difficult time finding a good clear shot of the puzzle. This is the best I can do for now.

Isn't it though? I'm pretty sure that's supposed to be the Sorceress forming out of the clouds. Damn my inability to find a better picture of this. This one doesn't do it justice.

    EDIT:

Okay, I found a better pic on this very site. I had to save and resize it though, 'cause it was 1 pixel over the limit.

I have that book on the way, from an ebay auction.

Tally, do you know if the other "PoP" Golden Super Adventure covers were drawn by Earl Norem? I am just wondering.

    Darren,

The picture that I posted, I think that's the only piece of 'Norem artwork' in the entire classic PoP line of merchandise.
