Classic MOTU Sticker sheet discussion, requests, etc

I have been printing out new sticker sets for the old vehicles I can pick up here and there. My question is..What happened to him? I still need several of the sticker sheets not posted and the updates never came. I hope all is well and he just got too busy...I am not that greedy. I would just like to complete my back-up collection of files for the MOTU stuff

It seems like it would be a really good idea for there to be a Web site where you can download scans or recreations of stickers that were included with classic MOTU playsets and vehicles, like Castle Grayskull. Is there such a place?

I talked to the man himself, He is a cool dude but he will not update the website he has some other issues.

That sucks !

but i don`t understand why hasn`t anybody say hey ! here are the Eternia stickers to download.

Not sure if this is the correct place to ask this but . . .

I was wondering what is the safest/best way to remove vintage stickers off of vehicles and playsets?

If there is already a thread on this subject please let me know. Thanks!

turpentine works for me !

Heat them with a hair dryer-it warms the glue and you can usuallt get them off. Use Goo-Gone to remove any residue.

Do you try to remove the sticker WHILE you are blow drying or AFTER you blow dry it? I'm having some trouble with this sticker.

I was wondering what route everybody here goes as far as actually printing these sticker and cardboard insert scans.

For example are you guys able to get these printed at Kinko's or OfficeMax or do you have to print them at home (if so what type of printer)?

Sorry I took so long. Both. Sometimes the stickers just turn to dust, and you just have to scrape them off or use lots of Goo Gone.

To print them, I get a sheet of sticker paper at a copy place, and use my home printer. They're not shiny like the originals, but work well for customs. Also, try looking into water-slide decals for model car making.

I hate to bump such an old thread, but it seems better than making a new one. I'm restoring my old Castle Grayskull and I used the scans provided by toyjesus to make new cardboard cutouts. They look great but after I cut them out and put them in the castle they turned out to be too big. At what scale should I be printing or resizing these to make them fit?

I've seen a couple venders on e-bay offering fairly priced repros of Grayskull stickers, that also include the card board cut outs. Anybody buy from these guys, and are they good quality?

One guy is jabbas_vintagetoy_hutt from Canada, and the price for the set is basically 13.00 shipped.

The other guys is zacparis from Australia and it is $24.70 shipped.

I'm wondering if the quality of the less expensive one is lower than that of the higher priced one, because I really can't justify that higher cost unless the quality is much, MUCH better. I have many other parts that I need, so I need to go for price efficiency.

The toyjesus scans are of the included sheets but they miss factory applied stickers. Does anyone have digital sheets for the Roton, Dragon Walker and Land Shark with those extra stickers? I do not want to pay eBay prices for reprinted sheets with just a few extra stickers on them when I have the means to print my own.

factory stickers for the Dragon Walker(shields) & Land Shark(console, eyes). Use them with the toyjesus.com scans. No need to pay a fortune for the eBay copies
