monogram and mattel? are you asking if its the same company?
no, its not.
if you are asking if monogram items are in this book, i assume yes, since that is what the seller posted. but monogram stuff of a different kind
I have the Attack-Trak monogram model, its awesome. I think the design is even better than the toy. What other vehicles did they make? I know they made Roton, what else?

Anyone knows how many were released?
Are they like toys or just replicas?
Are they in scale?
They also made the attak trak and talon fighter. yes them ake toys with limited action featuers like the wings on talon fighter flap. And tey do have some differences to such as extra parts and or parts look different. If a person was a completionist they would have to buy two if each because they were molded in two different colors.

They are around the same size as the original vehicles. The Monogram Talon Fighter ain't as bulky as the original one, but it's longer. The figures are supposed to fit into the vehicles. They fit perfectly into the Roton and quite well into the Attak Trak and Talon Fighter (if they don't wear bulky armor).
I've written everything I found out about them into those reviews.
It's been said that back then the model kit magazine "Model Maker" held a contest to retool existing MotU vehicles, and that Monogram donated the prices. The contest winner was a guy named Pete McLoughlain with that retooled Roton. At the same time, Monogram aquired the MotU licence for model kits and thus produced those three retooled vehicles.
I can't tell whether or not this story is leggit, though. :-/
I can highly recommend those Monogram model kits. Although they all have working actionfeatures, they can break easily during play. But for display purposes, they're awesome!
The Roton is the easiest to get, the Attak Trak is the hardest (I paid € 50,- for mine). You can't tell which color version you have inside of the box, but both were produced evenly, so you always have a 50/50 chance to get the one you prefer. And the boxart is very nice, the vehicle pilots would make for some great custom material.
It's funny that this topic pops up here almost bi-monthly now. It was exactly the same at PlanetEternia two years ago, hence why I wrote down those three reviews. It's quite a shame that those model kits don't get more attention.![]()

I found a MIB Talon Fighter model at a local hobby shop yesterday! I can remember having this as a child, as well as the actual toy. How rare is the model? Does anyone have any idea? Either way, I'm pretty happy to have found it!

I don't think the model kits were that rare...
If memory serves me correctly (and it usually does) there were three models; the Attak Trak and Talon Fighter were fairly easy to get, but the Roton model kit was slightly harder to find...![]()

Cool...I can remember having both the Roton toy and the Roton snap together model...as a child, I never understood why they didn't look alike. lol. I guess I should have held onto that particular model.

of all the models i like the talon the least. very different. still nifty i suppose but at least the other 2 models were nice updates.
Hi everybody, I found this.

The colours have nothing to do with the original, I think it is curious.
Seems to me I remember some kind of a model kit that looked like that. It wasn't really a toy, but like a model plane.

Indeed Dave-Man it's the Monogram model kit.
Back then Monogram did a model kit version of both Talon Fighter and Roton that were slightly different from the toys version. Although, they were made at scale and could be used with figure once assembled.

they also did attacktrack. all three came in 2 color schemes. swapped back and fort. the talon fighters wings flapped. these are pretty cool and do fit figures but do still kinda stand out.
Thank you pals.
Where did you get that info?
