Alright, I know that this is a Roton vehicle but check it out, the colors are complete opposite of what they should be. Could this be a test shot or prototype vehicle? Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Based on the holes I see near the seat, I suspect it's one of the modeling kit Rotons. They appeared to be just more sophisticated versions of the toy vehicles as figures could fit in them and what not. I don't have links right in front of me but I'm sure someone on the boards can provide more details.

I hate passing these up, back in the day. My reasoning at the time was: "I already have these vehicles."

I got all six now. I had three of them as a kid but lets just say they became fodder after a while. They look good with the rest of the line though.

They are not that hard to get, even now. The hardest one for me to find was the reverse color Attak Trak. Then after I got it I saw about five of them.

Just got one today, was wondering if anyone had a link to, or could post or e-mail me a pic or scan of the destructions. I could probably figure it out, but don't want to take any chances. I bet someone here has them!

I just built one of these, and have the instructions at home, I'll scan them and try to post them here! It really is easy though, without glue I put it together in about fifteen minutes!

As promised I scanned the Attak Trak instructions, and also the waterslide transfer which has been known to disintegrate after twenty years. You can find the images in my photo albums in my profile. I'm waiting on a factory sealed Talon Fighter now, and when I get it I will upload those instructions also.

I only ask b/c one of my friends saw it when my kids were playing w/ it. "What is that" he asked. Hello, it's Roton! But, he mentioned he'd only ever seen it w/ the red blades and black body. Mine has black blades w/ red body. Is this common or something w/ a story behind it. Anybody w/ some sort of explanation would be great.

I've never seen the one that you have. Black body with red blades is normal. Can you post a picture of yours?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the monogram model kits had reversed colors (randomly I think) They are scaled to the figures and can be played with like the toys. Is it possible you had one of those?

So, is this something worth any significant value? Is it something core vintage collectors want? Or can my kids go back to playing w/ it? It doesn't have any of the stickers,weapons, or the drop top either. I'm assuming my kids are o.k. w/ playing w/ it.

Thanks for the visual confirmation, Sir Reilly! I have the normal colors Roton, and the reversed Attack Trak; I assumed they did it for all three, but I'd never seen the reverse Roton before.

Vlcan, I don't see the models for sale very often. I bought my reverse AT in played-with condition for $10, so I don't think they're super-sought after. Someone may correct me, however.

Hey guys

well i picked one up last night still wrapped in plastic and was wondering as i've never owned one, i remember they only made three along with Roton, and Talon, does anyone know what these suckers are worth??

i love the fact that you can put a fig in it and it goes right along with the line.. and the artwork on the cover is great!!! i'm keeping it sealed as well i'm an MOC nut... but was just wondering if anyone had some info on these..

I think each of the models can be had for under $25.

Did you know there's color variations? Each model came in standard and reversed colors: like the attak trak with a blue body and red treads and the standard red body with blue treads. You won't be able to tell without opening the set.

yeah i traded for it locally for some GPK cards i didn't want.

but yeah i saw the variations on the back very cool.. i wonder if there is a way to tell via product code?

so they all come like that.. ? i gather they can fit your figs no problem?
