Sadly, some of my things like the other PoG dinosaurs, variants, boxed/carded stuff and the accessoire sets are missing in those pics cause we're moving soon.

Yeah it's a custom of Tytus, from the POG line, that I did. If I can ever get that large Incredible Hulk figure, I'll make a Megator too.

Sir Reily: I LOVE your set-up. If I had more space and a few more vehicles (I only have a couple, not shown in my pics), I'd like to have a huge battle scene like that. And that's a cool way to set up two Grayskulls.

Those model kits are really cool Sir Reilly.I may have to keep an eye out for those. How big are they compared to the toy versions?

They are kind of odd though. Why would mattel allow a release of model kits based on existing toys and base them on, what looks like, the original coceptual art for these vehicles?

They are around the same size as the original vehicles. The Monogram Talon Fighter ain't as bulky as the original one, but it's longer. The figures are supposed to fit into the vehicles. They fit perfectly into the Roton and quite well into the Attak Trak and Talon Fighter (if they don't wear bulky armor).

I've written everything I found out about them into those reviews.
It's been said that back then the model kit magazine "Model Maker" held a contest to retool existing MotU vehicles, and that Monogram donated the prices. The contest winner was a guy named Pete McLoughlain with that retooled Roton. At the same time, Monogram aquired the MotU licence for model kits and thus produced those three retooled vehicles.
I can't tell whether or not this story is leggit, though. :-/

I can highly recommend those Monogram model kits. Although they all have working actionfeatures, they can break easily during play. But for display purposes, they're awesome!
The Roton is the easiest to get, the Attak Trak is the hardest (I paid € 50,- for mine). You can't tell which color version you have inside of the box, but both were produced evenly, so you always have a 50/50 chance to get the one you prefer. And the boxart is very nice, the vehicle pilots would make for some great custom material.

That sucks that the Attack Track is the hardest to get as that does look the coolest. It's really cool that the figures fit into them too.
Bummer I can't read German though as I'm sure that article you wrote is quite interesting.

Yep, Malaktha was one of my favorite characters from the Filmation series, so I made one a few years back to go with the original figures.

Damn. And to think hat I trashed my monogram Attak trak, broke it and tossed it into the trash want I was 7 years old!

I took a bunch of pics of mine when i completed the figures. There are no vehicles in this pics, but a friend of mine took them with a pro camera in very interesting poses...Here it goes, enjoy!

That is simply a beautiful display you've got going there, Blanka! Your friend has a real eye for angles! I love the way you've categorised the characters into their affiliations too.
