She-ra always defeated whole armies effortlessly.

He-man always seemed to need help. Even when he visits Etheria, She-ra always has to save him.

Even in the Christmas Special, She-ra had to save him.

No wonder the He-man fans turned their backs on the series.

Seriously. I like both He-man and She-Ra. I gotta Believe that He-man is stronger. He has no crazy sword shape shifting tricks, can't talk to animals. No healing powers, let him have something. He-man never had to get help from She-Ra on Eternia, but that really does not prove much either cause we are just talking about strength, and strength alone doesn't win every battle. I consider myself a She-Ra fan, but if I have to believe she is better than her bro on all fronts, It would make me hate her because she would cheapen everything about him.

She-ra is stronger, more powerful than He-man because she always beat Hordak, Shadow Weaver, Mantenna, and the whole army of Horde Troopers effortlessly and single-handedly.

Every time He-man faced the Horde he always got himself captured. And She-ra always had to save him.

She-Ra is probably stronger, and has better powers:

    Martial arts skills
    Can talk to animals
    Healing
    Transmuting sword

She-Ra (on Swifty) pulled an entire MOON into another orbit in one episode. Ridiculous yes, but she did it!

In the end, it depends on who is writing the episode. Derailing an already established and beloved character is never a good thing. They really should have been equally matched and just as competent. Too bad the writers never even thought about having He-Man and She-ra or even Adam and Adora forced to fight each other or even spar.

Once Adora became She-ra, He-man became a dodo, ignoramus, and automaton:

    1. She-ra had to save him from the Magna Beam.
    2. She had to swoop in on Swiftwind and rescue him from Hordak and the Horde Troopers surrounding him.
    3. She-ra had to come in and save him again in "The Price of Freedom".
    4. She had to rescue He-man again from Hordak's projector in "The Eldrich Mist". He sounded like a total automaton and bozo in that episode:
    She-ra: "This isn't a tax collection day."
He-man: "Maybe Hordak changed plans now that he knows the
    Rebellion is not a problem."

    She-ra: "This isn't how I remembered it."
He-man: "Maybe we took a wrong turn."

And again in "The Price of Freedom":
He-man: "Why aren't we doing anything. What about your homes,
    your possessions."
She-ra: "He-man, this is Etheria. The Horde rules this planet."

It sounds like when Adora gained the power, she took most of He-man's power, mental and physical---probably spirtual too.
