The placement of the figures and work on the camera-lens makes this look absolutely enjoyable tale.
Blue light also gives this some mood, which I like.
For some reason, I thought that Hordak wouldn't introduce Mantenna first from his horde-members..
I agree: the CAMERA ANGLES are very cinematic and give a lot of mood. It is really fantastic to see a work like this for motu, at last.Originally Posted by Jukka
I have to agree with the praises. Not only is the camerawork and "direction" good, but the feeling of the old series is here. I cannot place a finger on the exact reason why this seems so cool, and it's not just use of the vintage series of figures, but you are really doing things rihght.
My hat off to you, sir. Or lady.
It's so good and it just started!!

Why Mantenna goes first? because he's the one with the long beady eyes, reasoning that he would see stuff first.

note: Even from official sources, there are many slightly different stories about Hordak and Skeletor. Here I have taken the liberty to mix and match them. We assume that when Skeletor was Keldor, he was a disciple of Hordak (based on the timeline from the 2002 MOTU story). The burning away of Skeletor's face took place only after Hordak was banished from Eternia. Which explains why Hordak does not recognise Skeletor.
And case you missed it, the my other comic book tale can be found here:
BTW I have sent PM to Val regarding a link for it on the main page, but had no response. Either the admin are busy or they think it's not suitable to create a weblink for it. Ah well, doesn't matter because as long as you guys are entertained by it, I'll keep telling the tales.

Thats really cool.
How did you keep your figures and Snake Mountain so clean after all these years? They look mint.
Oh well whatever never mind.
SpaceGhost, you'll be surprised who soap, water and a soft toothbrush can do to old figures. Unless it worn paint, most of them can be refreshed with a good wash.
anyway, let us continue...
