The Cradle Will Rock As I'm Drivin' Down Highway 40 In My Big Ol' Pick Up Truck.
Hello He-Man fans.
I am a Star Wars collec-tor who recently picked up some strange bootlegs last year on eBay from a Singaporean seller. Along with a Chewbacca and 2 Vaders I got a strange Jelly-like Skeletor and what appears to be Merman?
I have asked all of the Star Wars illuminati about them, yet I have received no answer. Do you have any idea?
they are about 2 inches tall and you can see them in the picture below
Hopefully you guys have some answers, because I am really getting curious!
I'm sorry if this is common knowledge, but I haven't been able to find anything from looking around on the web.
thanks.

I love seeing some of these bootleg/knock off motu figures.Although some of the pics don't show up it's still great to see them.Does anybody have anything new to post?
I don't know if anyone can help me but I remember when I was little that my cousin had a bootleg Skeletor that was exactly like the classic Skeletor ( color wise) except this one had no hood.
It was a really weird figure. Has anyone seen one like that? If so do you have a pic?
I still remember how strange that figure was. I would like to see it again.

SLUSH HEAD FINALLY SHOWED UP IN MOTUC YAY!!!
So, no information here?
Has no one seen them before, or am I posting something ridiculously simple that everyone knows the answer to?
I'm trying to get to the bottom of this mystery.
I know I'm new, but I'd love to have at least some response.
Thanks.

I've not seen them before. They look like gummy bears, almost good enough to chew...
I'd keep them though, their bound to be worth something.

There was figures in quarter machines in the 80's that looked just like those but they had a base attached to there feet. I would guess that those are the same thing since they look nearly identical, but you say those are two inches? I'm pretty sure the quarter machine ones are about a half inch. Small enough to fit in one of those vending machine balls. Had the same features though. Weird....
Hey All,
Like Skye above I am also collecting SW in the first place, mainly bootlegs. That's how I got these MOTU bootlegs out of Eastern Europe and South America. Hope you like 'm (I DO) and maybe have some additional info on them?

I love how the figure with Mer-Man's head in Eurotor's first post appears to have the Battle Armor body mold under his armor.![]()

Check out my business website! If you run a blog or something and can link to it, I'd certainly appreciate it!
Here is a little something I picked up not too long ago. As you can see the only thing that moves are the arms and waist. Everything else is molded.

I'm on Twitter: ThunderPunchU
found these guys in a big lot of motu stuff i bought over the weekend. i did some research but any idea what there worth and how complete they are.
[IMG][/IMG]
you've been very lucky. they are remco's warrior beasts: one of the best knock-off series from the '80s.
they seem to be complete and with the right weapons, maybe except for the lack of gecko's harness (the purple/orange one).
for further informations give a look to retrojunk, masters of the universe article.
Those knock off figs brings so much memories, i honestly would love to be able to enter any kind of store and see them in their low budget packaging like back in the days. I could get them off from ebay, but its just NOT the same.
I hazard to think of what dodgy raw materials were used in making these and I wonder how many of the sets were made by criminal gangs!
Selected art prints now available:

...actually don't know about criminal gangs, but remco was famous for the high quality of its products, and, to tell the truth, i'd love to see the characters from lost world of the warlord and warrior beasts integrated in motuc line (pog era)...but i know it's not possible!

i've had these figures since i was a kid & just found out they are x-changers.
they have the same chest/ab sculpt as MOTU but have interchangable hands & feet:
Musashi Toys Hordesmen, i have all 5 variants.
