I coloured your she-ra some time ago. I've had plans to colour your Catra too, but nothings ever come of it.

Nifty to see all these great pencil-pieces again!

Cacci man. You have some nice rendering there for sure but all I'm gonna say to you is I'm a big fan of Frazetta. Your art won't improve if you keep doing what you are doing.

I love the man too but creatively, it's a nasty habit to be getting into. Study his work, study his composition, movement and even get some ideas from him but don't redraw something that's already drawn.
Maybe for a bit practice is fine I suppose but if were reviewing your portfolio and saw those pics, I'd close it up not wanting to see any more as it's not a fair nor accurate representation of your skill.
Ya might think I'm being a bit harsh but if you are serious about being an artist, you be needing to knock that on the head dude.

I always thought copying pieces you enjoyed was one of the best ways of learning and practicing? I've read at least two or three interviews with major comic book artists who said they learnt to draw by *tracing* their favourite artists' work.

for those who wonder what the heck we are talking about here is one of the pics in question

don't worry about been harhs I always accept criticism and comment because those are the thinks that really help
I use to be the one reviewing portfolios I use to work as aprofessional comic book artist in Italy and as a background painter for theatrical rappresentations in Mexico ( I graduate from the same art school of Emiliano santalucia, he was in the class next door)
I understand that those can appear as mindeless copy of a master work but I see them as a usefull exercise to try to capture the pose and fluidity of an exellent (if not the best) artist as frazetta and to be onest I truly think it work!!
    lmk what you think

P.s. for Castle my friend as I write I'm scanning some more pics I found I will write you a pm about ther question you asked me

Lots of official Cammy art!. There are two version of Cammy - the green and the blue ones. I personally prefer the green, but both are great!

    Chun-li
    Guile
    Dhalsim
    Ken
Vega (M Bison in Europe, maybe America)
    Zangief

    Lots more at http://www.sfgalleries.net/

And we want to see that brilliant Frosta pic again!
