    Josh-The Purple suited guy from the Mini-comics

    So I just got "Across the Crystal Light Barrier" and read it for the first time(yeah I know the minis are here on the site but it's not the same ).

    Anywho! I'm wondering what peoples thoughts are on this guy!
    Was he a character from the Cartoon?
    Is he Bows boyfriend?
    Glimmers boyfriend?
    Do you think he was a planned action figure?(I ask because I think his belt matches Bow's)
    Anyone else have thoughts on him?

    Oops, sorry heftysmurf you had a question. I got a little distracted.

    I vote for our mystery man being a fellow archer friend of Bow's who is still in his training stages (see how he grabs his belt so reassure himself that if needed he can help) and that not so secretly, to those who know him, pins away for Glimmer (he looks on as Glimmer looks elsewhere in that last panel). Unfortunately she only has eyes for the dashing Prince Adam.

    I remember reading that and wondering why they gave a name to a throwaway character too. Seemed strange. They could've used any other POP character instead. Why this guy?

    Thanks for the input everyone...I like Abby's suggestion that he's a fellow archer...but Josh is a very unoriginal name!

    Are there any other folks from the mini comics like this(that appeared but were not a figure or in the cartoon)?>
    I will probably research, but just wondered if anyone knew off hand?

    It would have been cool if Mattel had produced more male characters for the She-Ra line instead of just stopping at the three they did. I'm sure someone out there could make a custom Josh using a bow figure? I'm sure Bow would be happy

    It is time Bow just came to terms with things and came out lol.
    He's not fooling anyone by pretending to chase Adora/She-Ra, we all saw his reaction to Adam hehe
    I can see him and Josh getting along just fine...

    Which right there makes him an excelent canidate for "Josh's" Boyfriend, cause that just adds a whole new level of attraction...

    Okay, male characters from the toy line : Crystal Sun Dancer, Swift Wind, Bow, Kowl, Arrow, Storm, Loo-Kee. That's seven, unless I'm overlooking someone? Actually was Crystal Moon Beam the only female horse?! That just struck me as weird in a female dominated toy line...

    I'm so gonna have to customise one of my Bow's to make a Josh, they can double date with Adora and Sea Hawk X

    actually killian in the original toy line swift wind was a girl. they changed him for the cartoon. in the first she-ra mini comic when she-ra is riding spirit they refer to her as a philly i beleive.
