Classic colored Sorceress

I'm for sure getting both versions.

Pretty sure that the classic colors will be displayed with my stuff.

And that my daughter will get the toon colors version when I get all of wave 3.

If she had been in her classic form then yes I would have bought one. But this I have no desire for. While it has been said that this was the original color for the sorceress, I have to say I'm glad it was changed. I perfer the new colors for the new sorceress. For the classic sorceress the old colors were good.

I'm gonna have to pass on this one.

I'm kind of with you on this. Now, I do like it well enough that I will buy one, but I think that the newer colors from the cartoon series compliment the new design much, much better than the old colors do. She has this Egyptian look, and gold was often a central color of Egyptian Pharohs, etc (which was one of the main colors of her look in the MYP show). I also think that there is just way too much white on her 'classic' colors version.

The more I look at this one, the more I can live without the regular one.
This is the one that's going to be sitting atop Grayskull. I think I'll keep the other one on the card

Good idea! I have two Grayskulls aswell, so I'll probably open both of them too. Since I repainted most of my figures classic colours anyway, the CC Sorceress will go on my main display

Am I the only one not excited? Am I the only one not getting one? I love the idea behind it, classic colors are a cool idea for variants and exclusives but I prefer the gold colored version, It's what I fell in love with at SDCC 2002. On the other hand I LOVE the classic colored Zoar!

I agree completely! I've never seen any point in repaints. I've not wanted to get a single one of the repaints so far - but I sure as hell want this one!

Can anyone tell me how much it actually ends up costing to get AFX to post stuff to England? How much is it for 1 staction? A whole wave? Thanks!

You would have to convert from dollars to pounds. Luckily, the US Federal Reserve has on their website a handy calculator for currency exchange ... but unfortunately I can't find it right now. Give me a few hours and I'll come up with something. In the meantime, XE.com has a handy currency convertor.

I'm looking at them both - side by side - and I just can't decide which one I prefer Doesn't matter because I'm getting them both anyway

If I was to make a decision though, I think I'd go for the classic colour version. I think the colours do go well with the design and it's nice to see something that harks back to the good old '80s

The one thing that this variant has made me 100% sure about now is that I won't be getting any more of the full size statues. Only so much money and room to accommodate these and I love the mini statues so much more!

preorder this lovely model ( its so pritty) or stand my ground on not ordering one from a place that does not show love outside the US.

Well I`ve gave in and ordered one but just on the strength that afx have finally came down on the international postage.

Now if only they would do the same for the wave 3 per-orders, because right now they going to force us (the international fans) to pay ebay prices (errrrrr, which is still cheaper than afx) as the uk for one sees none of these figures in the shops.

but saying that it still cost more to send the package than the cost of the figure but its a move in the right direction and they do help out the .org

If you're talking about classic colours sorceress, then yes you're right, you can only get her from AFX.

But the stactions ARE available in UK shops. Can't get them from Toys R us, but specialist shops usually stock them. The toy shop in Portsmouth has them, and so do some UK online stores. Forbidden Planet also has them. Wave 3 is listed in the new catalogue.

Yeahhh! I just ordered mine; she looks amazing in those classic colours. I'm Canadian so the shipping was nuts, but I don't even care she looks so damn good!

Hey Val, why international fans can get the Classic Color Sorceress in the same sending with the Wave 3 Stactions and get the special USPS Global Priority Mail shipping? I want to get the 4 figures from AFX, but this is a big dissapointment...

Also, if I tried to get 2 Sorceress figures, they cost me 97,98$ with no saving on the total cost.

In all honesty though. I think everyone knows I love the Sorceress. How long did I complain about not getting her in mini statue form? With all that said and done I just dont like it.

Even though Zoar is shown with the Sorceress, hopefully Zoar be released with the Sorceress as Odephus was not released with Stinkor.

Unless it was mentioned on the AFX order page and I didn't notice it lol.

If you ordered the UPS way...there will be. With taxes and brokerage fees, you can expect to pay about $35 dollars more when they deliver it. If you went the USPS way ...the maximum extra you would have to pay(if any) is about $12.
One thing I have learned when shipping to Canada...

UPS=Bad USPS=Good

I ordered the one through USPS. Even though it is cheaper on paper now...it won't be when UPS comes a knocking.


In regards to the amout available, do you think 1000-2000? Since the regular run is 5000, 2000 sounds reasonable.
